Built in 1826 Aylsham Windmill was a working flour mill for almost 100 years. It was unused for more than 80 years, and has now been converted into luxurious self catering accommodation for 6 people. The accommodation is on 4 floors linked by normal domestic stairs. Aylsham is ideally placed in the centre of North Norfolk. Explore the coast, the Broads and the city of Norwich.
We spent a wonderful week in this beautifully renovated windmill , and we thoroughly recommend it . The owners were lovely and had left lots of provisions eg milk , cake etc . The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable , and unique . We could not fault it .
