The Lodge was excellent, in a first class location within the Park. Tralee Bay itself was stunning in the sunshine which was there in abundance all week! The Lodge was emaculate on arrival and so well equipped. Just 2 issues: 1 The WiFi kept disengaging from my phone and was frustratingly difficult to reconnect. 2 The disabled bed was too narrow for turning over in bed. The hand rails at the side were too low to be effective. Finally, I would recommend 2 x single beds as opposed to bunk beds.
The lodge is well maintained and is adapted for every level of needs. U would require a care to get you about as there is not much to do in the park for people with mnd . The restaurant menu food was lovely however it is a basic menu . U do require to book. There is entertainment on every Saturday There is a few options for takeaways . Shop in the park has basic ingredients however supermarkets are a few miles away. Overall we had a peaceful few days .
