Lovely place as a base to explore the Snowdonia area. Scenery was great, lovely sunsets. comfy bed and great for alfresco dinning. Pool was great too.
A little slice of heaven on earth. I stayed in the shepherd’s hut as a solo traveller, looking for relaxation, a connection to nature, and a base for hiking, and it exceeded all my expectations. The hut was cosy, peaceful, and had everything I needed. I loved the thoughtful eco-friendly touches, beautiful sea views, and watching the sheep and cows grazing. The hammock beneath the tree was the perfect place to relax with a book. One of the most delightful things about our recent 4-night stay at the Cow Shed were, indeed, the cows! Each day, they were out in the field in front of us with their young calves cavorting about. We also loved walking up to the fields of sheep at the lookout point over the sea. Stunning! The house was charmingly decorated, well appointed, very spacious, very comfortable and very private. Our stay at Llanfendigaid was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We chose Llanfendigaid because we were looking for a peaceful, luxurious getaway surrounded by nature, and it exceeded every expectation. The staf were allways available to answer our questions and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. We had an absolutely amazing stay at the beautiful and historic Llanfendigaid House, where we celebrated my 70th birthday with the whole family. The house and gardens are truly stunning, and we were lucky to have fantastic weather, which made it even more special. There’s plenty to do nearby if you want to explore, but it’s just as lovely to relax in the house or unwind in the gardens.
