Fantastic few days at the Pod, perfectly formed with a really comfy bed, small kitchen with everything you need and a small but great wet room. The location is great and so peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a real bonus.

We had an amazing three-night stay at The Llanfendigaid Estate. From the moment we arrived, the cottage felt warm, welcoming, and full of charm. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail really stood out. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, making it easy and enjoyable to prepare meals. We had another wonderful weekend on the estate . Dog friendly, beautiful cottage, stunning scenery. Had a couple of great meals out in Tywyn- Millie’s and Sid’s, and the salt coast , great food - delicious vegetarian choices. Really enjoyed the live music on Friday night at the old cinema in Tywyn. Loved it so much booked again for May!
The cottage has lovely furnishings and the estate is gorgeous. Unfortunately it was let down by a series of issues with cleanliness including dirty and broken glasses, dusty cobwebs and a damp and musty smell. There were also disposable vapes left in the bedside table, which doesn't feel safe as our young children could have found them. Finally our booking form request hadn't been passed on to housekeeping, which made it feel a bit impersonal. As a large group of ages ranging from 12 - 82 years the house is perfect for us all. The location meant that a trip to Tywyn to play on the arcades was only a short drive away and my husband even arrived by train from London! Gareth was easily reached when we had a small issue during our stay and he quickly provided solutions. Last time we stayed we suggested that balloon glasses would be a nice touch and there they were this year ready for our G&T's!
