High quality cottages and well maintained grounds. Excellent facilities such as the pools. Quiet and peaceful but lots for children. We're back next May with family and all eagerly looking forward to it.
A rather intermittently soggy summer week with 3 other families (16 people in total). Good accommodation, well equipped for self catering, with plenty on site for the (mainly) teenagers to engage in (pool, table tennis, swimming pools, play area) and to safely roam. An easy walk down to Bude with town & beaches.
We went with our family and we were pleased to find Broomhill Manor had a facility for everyone, from teenagers to O A P's.
Excellent location and facilities for both adults and children and very accommodating hosts. Beautiful gardens, fabulous pools, indoor and out. Very safe environment for children.
We enjoyed our long weekend at Broomhill. The cottage was very comfortable and apacious. Everything was supplied for our baby grandson and the owners were very helpful. The pool was clean and a good temperature, and the playroom was perfect for the baby. We will be back some time in the future, hopefully for a longer break.
We had a great time at Broomhill Manor! The range of facilities available are unrivalled and we didn’t even manage to explore all areas available even with a 7night stay! The outdoor pool in particular was exceptional and the option to have a cocktail on a few of the evenings was brilliantly positioned. It was wonderful to have a private garden and hot tub as well as beaches and Bude to explore nearby. A perfect get away for young families. Our only 2 pieces of constructive feedback would be the playroom (which was a big hit and we spent a lot of time in) does need a little more attention...more
This is our third visit and will not be our last as we take 3 cottages for all the family over Christmas and the facilities and cottages are great.
We stayed at Broomhill Manor for Easter weekend with our two young children (2 and 5). The provision of toddler equipment such as the high chair and cot made our packing and staying there so much easier. We loved the indoor pool - the weather was pretty changeable so being able to pass the time inside was great. The cottage itself was fairly compact but there was enough space for us and contained everything that was needed. Broomhill always delivers ! This place is so special, a sanctuary of peace and safety for both parents and children. I challenge anyone to find a better place to stay in Cornwall. Walking distance to Bude town centre and amazing beaches but with everything you need on site. The facilities are brilliant and there is plenty to do even if it’s raining ! We have already booked for next year and with two boys aged 12 & 16 it’s a tall order but they can’t wait.
We had a very memorable family Easter holiday at Broomhill and definitely did not want to leave. Even the April weather did not deter us from having a fantastic time and we would definitely consider visiting anytime of the year and not during summer only. Everything at the manor is what we imagined it to be and loved our cosy cottage too which we always looked forward to coming back to after a day out in the rain. An excellent holiday with plenty of facilities available, like indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, hot-tub, full tennis court, games room, snooker table. The list goes on and everything is free and included in the price, so no extra costs which makes a change these days. The hosts Louise and Philip went out of their way to ensure that all our needs were met with humor and friendliness. Bude is a 5 minute drive away with some lovely beaches and caters for most shopping needs through Sainsbury/Lidl and Waitrose. Broomhill Manor is located on the edge of Bude in a tranquil area set in fields giving it a real country atmosphere yet within 5 minutes of shops and the town. In Bude there are plenty of safe sandy beaches with lifeguards in attendance where beachfront cafes are popular. Broomhill Manor provides everything that we would want from a holiday. What a wonderful first stay at Broomhill! The site was absolutely beautiful and so well kept, very quiet and felt like an oasis (despite holidaying with a toddler and baby!) There were lots of extra touches such as a personal welcome onsite and shown to our property, scones on arrival, and many little touches that Phillip and Louise had thought of to make the holiday that much easier. This was our second time going to Broomhill and this time we stayed in Nightingale cottage. The cottage was comfortable and spotlessly clean and contained everything you could possibly need. We loved having our own private garden and hot tub to relax in after a day at the beach. I think though what makes Broomhill extra special are are the facilities there. The 2 pools are great and are both lovely and warm so can be used whatever the weather. I love coming here on my own (with my dog) for a few days away from the hustle and bustle of home. It’s so peaceful and relaxing and so welcoming. If I could change one thing I would add a thick sofa mattress topper on the bed, and have a thick blanket for added comfort (cosy weight!) Thank you for another wonderful stay!
What a wonderful place to stay. The inside and outside pools were lovely. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and the grounds are lovely to walk around. Would love to return. Great for couples & families.
We had a very warm welcome from Phillip and Louise, including a cream tea with homemade scones and Christmas Eve drinks with a special visitor for our young son. The cottage was nicely decorated for Christmas and was warm, comfortable, attractively furnished and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The facilities were really good and well maintained. There was a quick response when we needed help with something in the cottage. We will definitely plan to stay again in future.
