We had a fantastic Easter stay at Broomhill Manor and couldn't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, Philip and Louise made us feel truly welcome — their warmth and hospitality made all the difference and really set the tone for the whole trip. The facilities were outstanding throughout. The swimming pool was a brilliant touch, perfect for unwinding after a day out, and the games room was a huge hit with everyone — whether it was a competitive game of pool or a lively round of table tennis, there was never a dull moment! And speaking of unwinding — the family cocktail evenin...more
Delightful, spacious cottage, with pretty enclosed garden. Owners welcome was lovely and on-site facilities immaculate.
We had an amazing stay at Broomhill Manor. The type of holiday you and your children will look fondly back on in years to come. The cottages are beautiful and the bonus of 2 swimming pools 1 inside and out and other children's play areas.... this was our 3rd holiday there first was just myself and wife and then with our daughter then aged 2 years and this time with our other daughter and hubby with 2 children x amazing experience and warm welcoming hosts x highly recommended
We stayed in Broomhill (Chough) as it was the nearest place for attending a wedding celebration in a neighbouring property. It was close enough for us to walk to! This made getting to the event stress free and we had a nice comfortable cottage to stay in. Broomhill is a lovely site with 18 cottages, and lots of other facilities. They have thought of everything. Well done to Philip and Louise. Everything is done so well. Both hosts are lovely; very helpful, and approachable, should there be any issues. They want all of their guests to enjoy their holiday. Thank you to both.
This is our 6th stay at Broomhill Manor and we are looking forward to our 7th already !! We have stayed in Woodlark for 5 times now and it feels like a second home. Everything you need is included in the cottage which is always of the highest standard. The grounds at Broomhill are superbly maintained and so beautiful to walk around. We always take our 2 dogs which are included in the excellent price which is fantastic. Some places can charge up to £30 each dog per night so its amazing. The bar opens 3 nights a week for the perfect hosts Philip and Louise to try and tempt you with their e...more
This is the sixth time we've been to Broomhill but the first time we've stayed in Heron. We come as a big family group, booking several cottages, and Heron was perfect for us to all be together for New Year, as suggested by Phil and Louise. It is a lovely spacious cottage and we felt very comfortable even with 13 of us dining there! We absolutely love coming to Broomhill and every cottage we have stayed in is as good as the next.
Another brilliant stay at Broomhill but what a lovely cottage Cormorant is. The spilt level dining area worked really well for us with lots of space and the secluded garden gave us direct access to the main lawn which the dogs loved. With the hot tub and good weather it was absolutely perfect.
Highly recommend staying at Broomhill Manor, wonderful owners, great facilities for everyone both inside and outside. Especially enjoyed the cocktail evenings, Louise and Philip made everyone welcome. Lovely walks, especially the coastal path and canal also a must, a visit to the sea pool. Even late October half term the town and restaurants were bustling. We all had the best time!
We loved our 5th stay at Broomhill Manor. One of the reasons we keep coming back is because it is dog friendly and does not charge extra for a dog staying! Fabulous! They also supply a little dog bed, water bowl and a little jar of treats (the treats went down very well with our dog). We took my autistic brother with us and he felt safe and comfortable enough to go on little walks around the estate. We loved our little cottage. It had everything we needed and felt comfortable, homely and safe. Second night we had a little issue, we spoke to the hosts and the matter was dealt with and th...more
As I have walking difficulties and issues with balance I found the stairs very difficult to negotiate at night when I needed the bathroom which was downstairs. Also the bedrooms were very uncomfortable in the hot weather we were having at the time. The facilities and location at Broomhill were excellent, I would recommend this cottage as suitable for an out of season break.
It was with some trepidation that we booked our stay as it was 38 years since we were last there. We were, however, delighted to discover that everything was far better than we expected. Philip and Louise have done an amazing job of improving this holiday gem. Nothing was too much to ask, everywhere was spotless, and there was always time for a chat. Please visit this gem soon. Hope Broadfield.
Lovely place clean, comfortable , everything you need, lovely comfy beds, plenty of parking, very quiet and relaxing. Will definitely return.
This was a great place for myself my daughter and two children aged11 and 8 . The cottage was small but perfectly comfortable with everything we might need. The free laundry on site was great for swimming things and the availability of the indoor pool all day was fantastic . The owners of Broomhill were super helpful and seemed to have thought of everything . There was a small tuck shop and open “bar “ on several nights where families came and drank mocktails . There was a stables adjacent to the main siteandthechildren were able to go horse riding too. Broomhill was 10 minutes outside B...more

Our family had the most wonderful week at Broomhill. Louise and Philip were exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome and completely at home. Nightingale Cottage was absolutely delightful. It was beautifully presented, comfortable and a true home away from home. The private garden and cosy living room were particular highlights, providing peaceful spaces to relax and unwind. The wider Broomhill grounds are simply stunning. The immaculate gardens, green spaces, vibrant flower beds and beautiful ...more
Our Favourite place to holiday as a family. From safe and welcoming in the beautiful grounds to the fun to be had in the pools, tennis, games room and more! Philip and Louise are the ultimate welcoming hosts and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the North Coast of Cornwall in a gem of a holiday location.
Lovely location and facilities. Perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday. Owners very accommodating and helpful. Will definitely return again
The cottage we stayed in was very equipped, spacious and comfortable. The entire property and grounds are immaculately maintained. The owners Phillip and Louise are really welcoming and make a genuine effort to ensure that you have everything you need. We had a family birthday during the stay and balloons appeared next to our cottage door that morning, which was a very nice touch! The site is very quiet and peaceful in the evening as it is on a private road, however Bude and some fantastic beaches are within walking distance or a short drive. We visited as a family of 10 for the 5th y...more
