The Holgate hideaway.

A cozy character holiday cottage with enclosed courtyard garden with a Lazy spa hot tub situated 5 minutes from York station in the city of York, just 15 minutes' walk to York Minster.
This stunning property offers 2 bedrooms one king size and one a small double. Kitchen with dining area and a cozy living room leading onto a outside area with a hot tub .
The bathroom is a lovely walk-in shower . The property has been recently renovated to a high standard.
Smart Tv to watch your favourite Netflix shows after a long day exploring York.
Ideally placed close to all the local amenities, including the many shops and restaurants. Enjoy an all-year round holiday, visit the Jorvik Viking Centre, National Railway Museum and Clifford's Tower. Meander down the famous Shambles, take a walk around the Roman city walls. Have a boat trip on the River Ouse, relax in the enchanting gardens and riverside bars.
Pets are welcome for a charge of £20 per stay.
Parking can be provided on the nearby streets with a permit for £10 per day. This needs to be arranged in advance with the office.

Great stay at Holgate Hideaway. Place was very clean and exactly as described. Very cosy and was just what we were looking for. I also arranged for flowers to be there for my girlfriend upon our arrival, which they were most helpful with and sorted this out for me would happily stay there again.

Lovely place, ideally located, short walk to everything you could need. Plenty to do in York its a beautiful city. Apartment was clean and well maintained. Hot tub was just perfect.

Really cosy apartment and the interior was beautiful. Only a short walk to Micklegate and the bar walls. Really enjoyed this weekend in York and would definitely return in the future

Really nice property within walking distance to the centre of York. Loved the interior deco! Shower had great pressure and the beds were really comfortable. Hot tub was a nice touch

We really enjoyed our stay the place was spotlessly clean beds very comfortable all you could need for a weekend away

paid for a parking permit as trains on strike this was just around the corner.

This was without a doubt the nicest airbnb we have ever stayed in. It was extremely modern, very well thought through, it had everything, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to make any meal. The beds were so comfy and the bathroom was very modern. The living space was so cosy, the decor was lovely. Would absolutely return!

Really lovely place in the perfect location for the city. Lots of nice restaurants and things nearby but also only 20min walk to the city centre. Place is exactly as described and hosts were incredible at responding when we needed them.

Had a fabulous stay in the Holgate Hideway. Location was great, near to the train and walkable to the city centre. Comfortable furnishings, modern and clean. Perfect for a 2 night stay with a bonus of a lovey hot tub. Would definitely stay again :-)

The location and close amenities were amazing. It is easy to access the boutique lets company, they were very helpful and responsive. They have clear instructions to access the area. There is a guide on the local area at the boutique, for example local take aways and things to do.



Holgate hideaway is really nice, scrupulously clean and well maintained.

The Holgate Hideaway is a perfectly located well equipped property which provides a very comfortable stay in York. We can highly recommend. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and had everything needed for a break in the city. The addition of an outdoor courtyard was a real bonus. Bathroom was wonderful, lovely bed linen and towels.

This apartment has been very well thought out and beautifully furnished. There was everything you could think of provided to make your stay cosy and comfortable and it was spotless. The location is great, just a short walk to the main attractions of York. The hot tub was perfect for winding down after a day walking around the city. We would definitely recommend staying here. The holgate hideaway’s location is amazing round the corner from York train station & close enough to walk to the centre.
The apartment is decorated lovely all modern! Basic essentials provided like towels which was great, as we didn’t have to overpack. The robes were a lovely luxurious touch for the stay.
The hot tub was amazing! Even more so that it was hot and ready to use on our arrival. And very private from the upstairs apartment which was very well thought through.
Fully functioning kitchen if you wanted to cook everything was there that you needed cutlery,pots,pans etc. There is a Sainsbury’s around the corner which was great to grab some food shop from for breakfast. Or there is a few takeaways aswell round the corner. Just what you need on the doorstep. Great having basic tea coffee etc provided.
Cosy living area,with Netflix which was a great bonus for when you want to chill in the evening. Also games and books which is a great thought.
Comfy beds.
Just one point with the great location of the apartment obviously comes with some noise from the main road. One of the bedrooms in particular, I bought some earplugs for the second night which did the trick and I managed to sleep in the end.
We would definitely come back! It was a lovely stay. Thank you

Such a hidden gem, the small garden area is so peaceful and beautiful, and the hot tub was great after a long day exploring York, you are a stone's throw from the Centre, and very close to some great restaurants. Very happy with our stay here, and our dog loved it too!

Such an excellent choice! The location is perfect! Just around the corner there is a cinema, Subway and KFC!! Few minutes walk and you are in the city centre.
