We returned to Fletchers Combe again this year, for the fourth time. We had visited every year until Covid struck but then hardly seen each other until doing this trip. If anything the place has got even better since we last came, with the new Starlink internet proving very useful during our presentation/meetings day and the gas BBQ making it even easier to start relaxing in the evenings. We were even lucky with the weather, for October! It was lovely to meet Sarah and James on the last day and get to know them.
As every, we would highly recommend FC and we're looking forward to coming bac...more
Our trip consisted of 13 adults and two dogs. The barn was lovely. Set out on two levels with plenty of room. Bedrooms all of great size. The location is amazing. Totally peaceful and away from everyone. The walks around the barn are amazing and definitely worth exploring. Would recommend to others. One down side is the oven wasn’t fully working with needs to be repaired as cooking for a party of 13 with just one side of the oven working can be a challenge.
My extended family and I had the most wonderful stay, the accommodation and grounds were absolutely lovely and we will most definitely be back. The owners were so welcoming and friendly and the surrounding area just like paradise. We could not have wished for a more secluded, beautiful and peaceful environment to recover from the last year. Waking up to the horses on the left, cows on the right and birds feeding, bliss!
It was an added bonus to meet the lovely Dr Mugford and his son who helped us with our dogs.
