Our family enjoyed a lovely two week stay in Granary Cottage. Friendly and accommodating owners, beautiful rural location, and everything you need within easy driving distance. Two dogs thoroughly enjoyed themselves too, and lots of places to take them along with us for days out.
We had a lovely week at Home Farm in the Hayloft cottage. It was ideal for our two greyhounds as there was a couple of fields and a footpath that was a great walk. We also climbed up to Crook peak from the farm which is well worth the effort. The coast was 30 minutes away with Cheddar gorge literally down the road. Plenty to visit from this location. The Woodborough arms pub in Winscombe was worth a couple of visits and the Inn at Cross. The cottage had everything we needed, was comfortable and was nice & cool in the heatwave.
Nice cottage and surroundings, a little pricey and narrow road to get to but worth it once there. Plenty of places to visit not far away.
