Our second visit. It’s one of the few places we totally relax. Already rebooked for next year and can’t wait ! If you are reading this and haven’t stayed at hoppickers before you won’t be disappointed.
Family of four (girls aged 17 and 15) plus dog. We had a great time. We all enjoyed the hot tub, tennis court, pool and games room and the local walks, so much we had two days where we just stayed at the cabin most of the day. We did venture out to Malvern quite a bit as well (walked the Hills) and visited Worcester too. Be prepared to drive everywhere and for it to take longer than you might be used to on slow roads. We enjoyed our stay very much. We had meant to eat out but ended up cooking for ourselves all four nights, it was just so relaxing eating outside and watching the stars come out with a fire going. Plenty of equipment for cooking and eating. We went to Worcester before we arrived and visited the cathedral and National Trust Greyfriars House. Met up with friends for a walk on the Malvern Hills and went with them to Croome (also NT). Also went to Ledbury with good local museums. Hop Pickers Barn is a fantastic location for a peaceful and relaxing family holiday. The swimming pool is excellent and the private allocated swim times for each of the 3 / 4 accommodation units is a great idea. The walks from Hop Pickers are also great and our children aged 12 & 14 absolutely loved the games room and meeting the farm animals. The nearby Hop Shed Brewery is excellent as is the Glasshouse at Holloway’s and Knightwick Butchers which are all highly recommended.
