The Rushes is a gorgeous, stone-built townhouse-style property perfect for a family or couples. With 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, The Rushes has 3 floors so there's plenty of room for multi-generations to spread out. The Rushes is in the heart of historic Warkworth Village and is just a 5-minute walk to the main street of the village with its shops, restaurants, and pubs, and 15 minutes walk to the beach. There is 1 designated parking space and other roadside parking in front of the house. 1 dog is welcome and free Wi-Fi. Free digital guidebook.

The Rushes was really comfortable with great facilities. The bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen particularly good.
Fantastic location - so easy for everything in Warkworth.
Directions, instructions and general consideration of what guests need was great.
The welcome hamper was fantastic.

Fantastic, comfortable and clean cottage that is outstandingly equipped for holiday stay. Located in a nice, quiet and scenic area of Warkworth close to the river and the castle with easy access to the long sandy beach, scenic Amble with its bustling harbour and facilities and a short drive from attractive Alnmouth. We had a great holiday with grandparents on the second floor and parents and twins on the first floor. Not visited this bit of Northumberland before and will certainly be back.

Lovely cottage close to the centre of Warkworth. Home from home. Had a slight issue with a leaking radiator but this was swiftly dealt with by the contact. Warm and welcoming when we arrived. Thank you for the hamper everything we needed for the first night was thought of. Enjoyed so much we have booked again for next year!

The house was very clean and well appointed in every way .The weather was kind and we able to fully explore the area .

Lovely house in great location near the river and castle. Fantastic hamper on arrival
Had everything we needed and offered great comfort
We struggled to find the cutlery which is in a hidden drawer in the pan drawer lol
Great bathrooms
Would easily accommodate three couple or a large family

The house is steps from the river Coquet for peaceful walks,the little garden under Warkworth castles gaze. Can walk into Warkworth or to Amble for restaurants. Easy drive for Alnwick gardens, Alnmouth, beaches galore.
In the evenings we played games provided in the house- bananagram the family favourite.
The house is well kitted out to a high standard, parking at the back a little tight for a big car but room on the roadside by the house.

This is a great spot to visit Warkworth and the surrounding areas. The river is beautiful and the beach fantastic.

We stayed as a family of 6 adults, 1 baby & 1 dog at the ‘ Rushes’ Warkworth at the end of April, the house was lovely with stylish décor & quality appliances & crockery, it also benefits from 3 bathrooms which made it ideal for us.Warkworth is a lovely village with plenty of pubs & restaurants as well as its castle & ruins which we enjoyed visiting.
We walked to nearby Amble where we enjoyed a leisurely lunch by the sea.
One small thing that was rectified by Coquet cottages was we were not left any complimentary toiletries, & I did notice a couple of the diffusers were empty, small things but can make a difference between a 4 & a 5 score wise.
