This beautiful luxury coastal apartment in bustling Amble is the perfect seaside retreat. Breathtaking views from all windows of the harbour, sea, and Coquet Island. Free leisure pass included to Amble Links Leisure for 2 adults and 2 children. Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Sorry, no pets. Free Wi-Fi and digital guidebook.

I can't remember if we've stayed in the Quarterdeck 4 or 5 times. We just love the view from the living room. You can sit there no matter what the weather and watch the comings and goings in the marina, and the birds on the mud/sand banks. The apartment has all of the comforts that you would expect - washer, dishwasher etc. Cling film, foil and kitchen roll etc provided.
Sofas and beds are comfortable, plenty of storage/hanging space, and a superking bed (or twin) in the main bedroom is a treat for us.
Some people have commented on the lack of TVs in the bedrooms, but we would never put them on if they were available!
The only downside for me is that you can hear people walking around in the apartment above (some seem heavy footed), but we've never heard anything else.
Having said that, we have booked the Quarterdeck again, so it has never been a major issue.

Very nice and generally well looked after. A small table in the TV area would be great.
Lovely hamper and flowers on arrival.

The fab view hits you as soon as you walk in. The view down the river and over the marina is one you'd never get bored with. The living space is generous, the kitchen is large and well equipped. The two L-shaped sofas are super comfortable with plenty of room to sprawl, snooze, relax. The property is very warm .... if we'd stayed there in warmer weather we'd have needed to get to grips with the under floor heating to turn it down!
The bedrooms are spacious with proper hanging closets as well as chests of drawers. We loved the en suite shower room, really roomy and a good shower. The family bathroom is large and well appointed.
We'd have found a small nest of tables useful ... the second L-shaped sofa has nowhere to put down your cup / glass. We solved this by bringing inside one of the small patio tables.
The location is very central for amenities (restaurants, food shops, takeaways) as well as the harbour, beach and boardwalks. Really good to have private parking as the harbour area gets very busy at weekends.
Would definitely recommend this property as a great place to stay.

lovely apartment stunning view. The apartment was warm, clean and very tastefully furnished. A blind at the lounge windows might be beneficial in the summer as the sun is strong even in winter and it means closing the curtains obscuring the view.

We had a wonderful restful stay at the Quarterdeck. The apartment is very tastefully appointed, well maintained and had everything to make our stay homely and comfortable. The apartment is in great location with fantastic ever changing views across the Marina along the River Coquet towards Warkworth Castle and a great base from which to explore Northumberland
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Quarterdeck and our time in Amble.

A comfortable apartment in a lovely location. The owners were very helpful when we couldn’t connect to the internet and sorted out the problem quickly. The welcome pack was a nice touch but why have Coquet Cottages suddenly become mean with the supply of towels. Previously they have always provided towels for four people even though only two have occupied the property. Surely it can’t be to save money. The rent for their properties isn’t cheap so please do not skimp on little things.

Highly enjoyable stay in a luxurious flat with a view that we just couldn’t get enough of watching in sunshine or storm.
Amble is a great holiday location from Spurelli’s next door to The Fish Shack on the quay and the Harbour Inn nearby. We also enjoyed trips out to Craster for the smoke house and purple sandpipers and Warkworth Beach for a stroll in the sun after the storm. Just excellent.

The Quarterdeck is a very comfortable and well equipped apartment overlooking the Amble Marina with views towards Warkworth Castle. The Coastal path passes within meters of the front door. There are a good variety of restaurants and shops within a very easy walk.

This was our 3rd time at The Quarterdeck.
We love the location which is close to the harbour with its little shops and excellent restaurants.
The bar/restaurant within Cobble Quay is very handy and welcoming.
The flat is extremely comfortable with a lovely, view which changes by the minute, from the lounge and balcony. My wife is a wheelchair user and the property works well for her.

Our 2nd to Quarterdeck, and I think 4th or 5th time at Coble Quay.

The apartment was spotless, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The view is spectacular as always.

We had an issue with the TV suddenly losing the picture which was resolved swiftly and pleasantly by the owners which was really appreciated.

We had a great week staying in Quarterdeck, the property is of a very high standard and close to all that Amble has to offer. The views are glorious from the West facing balcony, and provides the perfect setting for a sundowner over looking the Marina and over to Warkworth Castle. We shall definitely be returning.
