We have stayed in this penthouse before and loved it, which is why we came back to stay there again. The views are fabulous, the apartment is lovely and we could happily live there, which says it all.

Where to start…… This apartment is wonderful and has everything you need within walking distance.
The Penthouse is fitted out beautifully and I am struggling to find a fault. From the stunning views to the sumptuous interior it was clear that this was going to be a wonderful break.
The 3 double rooms (upstairs) are very spacious each en-suite has a walk in shower.
The room downstairs has 2 twin beds, en-suite with over bath shower and there is also a separate WC.
We have recently started to holiday in this country due to my husband’s illness and finding accommodation suitable has proven to be very difficult.
The only thing I would say, but this is our own circumstances and definitely not a criticism of the accommodation, is that stairs could be difficult to climb if you have mobility problems and the over bath shower again could be a problem.
There is a lift which gets you up to the apartment from the car park which makes it accessible for all.
We all left after our week feeling so relaxed and I have to say that we couldn’t have wished for more and we cannot wait to go back.

We booked the Penthouse as we wanted somewhere for 3 generations - a bedroom & bathroom on the same floor as the living space plus plenty of room for everyone to relax individually- the Penthouse ticked every box PLUS it had the most stunning views from the living rooms and the master bedroom. The apartment was very well equipped - we wanted for nothing - plus secure lock up area for our bikes.

It was an extremely relaxed weekend with easy access to lovely beach walks plus some amazing Northumbrian meals.

The Penthouse is the best holiday home we have ever stayed in! Spacious, warm, clean, well equipped, comfortable with the most stunning views you could imagine. We spent hours watching the sea, sky, boats and birds from the huge windows looking over the Coquet Estuary. It was heaven! The binoculars provided came in very handy and we spotted so many different species of birds ... it was incredible.
The location of The Penthouse is excellent being a very short walk to everything you could need ... shops, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and boat trips. Yet it's high position made it feel very quiet and private. We are hoping to return next year.

The Penthouse was fabulous and in a great location. The views from the living accommodation and the main bedroom were superb. Everything in the penthouse was top quality and the bedrooms and the living accommodation had everything you would need for a great holiday. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be coming back. One of the best apartments we have stayed in.

This very special apartment offers everything that you need for a wonderful stay on the Northumberland coast. The views from the lounge and main bedroom cannot be beaten and the whole apartment is well appointed. This is our third year of holidaying here. We just love the location and feel to relax the moment we step into the apartment. Coquet and the housekeeper made sure that we had everything that we needed.

The apartment was everything we hoped it would be and more. Four very spacious bedrooms, all with large ensuites and most with either walk in wardrobes and/or dressing room. All the rooms had large flatscreen TV's and the games room was great too.

Cannot complete any review without mentioning the views!!!! The view from the living/dining/kitchen area over the river Coquet and out to the North sea through the full length windows was fabulous as was the view from the master bedroom.

Amble was a great base to explore with day visits to Seahouse, Bamburgh, Holy Island and even Newcastle. Hadrian's wall was a little further but still doable in a day.

Plenty of choice for eating in the village too.

We've stayed in dozens of locations over decades of holidaying in Northumberland but this is really special. The view is truly spell-binding. Lovely thick towels. Masses of hot water. We loved this place!

Celebrated a friends birthday and this is a lovely tastefully decorated property. The incredible views over the marina and sea take your breath away. Very comfortable furnishings. All bedrooms ensuite.
The top floor suite is amazing. Gorgeous welcome back. Plenty of space for 8.
A lovely time spent in Amble in a perfect location.

The penthouse apartment provides gorgeous accommodation which meets the needs of everyone. The apartment is in Amble providing easy access to beautiful beaches and top class restaurants which can be reached on foot.

We stayed here as a group of girls celebrating a birthday. The penthouse is immaculate and has everything you need for your weekend away, and with little touches of flapjacks, scones, bread, coffee, tea and wine to enjoy on your stay.
The location is right in the centre of Amble with just a short stroll to restaurants and bars. It is furnished to a very high standard and the views are breathtaking.
I would highly recommend!

We have enjoyed various holidays around Northumberland with Coquet cottages over the yearsand they have all been excellent !
After viewing this apartment and knowing the location we decided it was the best place to celebrate our special birthdays with very special friends !
Everything about the apartment was fantastic with superb views.
We loved the open plan living, dining and kitchen area and enjoyed the views of Warkworth Castle, the Marina and the Harbour.
The en-suite bedrooms were beautifully appointed and spacious. The Master suite overlooking the Marina and the harbour with balcony was our favourite.
As usual we visited the lovely restaurants in Amble including The Boathouse, Taj Mahal and La Famiglia.
We loved the very generous hamper provided, especially the hand cakes and scones. The flowers were also lovely.
The owners and cleaner were extremely helpful and committed to making our stay amazing and we highly recommend this Penthouse apartment.

A return visit to this fabulous apartment with stunning views over Amble Harbour and Warkworth Castle. The Penthouse is luxuriously furnished and has every utensil you will ever need. Everything is to a very high standard and the condition and cleanliness of the apartment could not be faulted.
One evening we used a company called Dineindulge which involves a chef coming to the apartment where he prepared and served a five course meal to everyone, A service we would highly recommend.
Overall we had a fabulous birthday long weekend and w look forward to returning again in the future

Stayed for a week in the amazing Penthouse in Amble. Absolutely beautiful apartment with everything you need for a relaxing break. From the home baked scones on arrival to the fully equipped kitchen, we could not fault a thing. This apartment is a cut above the usual holiday let and we had a wonderful stay. The views are stunning and we were happy just to watch the world ( and wildlife) go by! Amble is a lovely seaside town to base yourself and we enjoyed visiting Warkworth, Bamburgh, Alnmouth and Alnwick amongst others. The local restaurants are brilliant and everyone is so friendly. Could not recommend this highly enough!

The apartment offers everything that you need for a restful holiday on the coast. The apartment is perfectly appointed with lots of luxurious touches. The kitchen has everything that you need and everything is of good quality and spotlessly clean. The views are fantastic and the recliner chairs offer a great place to watch the activity in the marina as well as the setting sun in the evening.
I cannot fault anything in the property and we will be staying again.
