This lovely first floor apartment was spotless and of a good size. It was very well equipped, with everything needed for a great stay. It also had the bonus of a garden with a summer house.

It was situated in a great location in the beautiful village of Warkworth. Parking was very close by and there was never a problem finding a space. There was an excellent restaurant almost opposite the apartment and 2 good pubs serving food a short stroll away.

Warkworth is an ideal base for exploring the Northumberland coast and also has an amazing castle.

Ideal location for a Northumbrian visit. Opposite the Warkworth hotel. Everything needed was supplied. Fire in lounge is gas so no messing about with logs. Car parking either on road behind or in centre of market place. Cafes, pubs and restaurants a short walk.

The stairs a bit of an issue difficult to open the front door from inside unless stood on the stairs however got used to it - a wonderful week - needed to relax and unwind - perfect place to do this - well equipped and very cosy - only thing - I cook and a 3 tier steamer would have been useful. The location - perfect base to explore this part of the coast.
A credit to the owners
Thankyou
Karen and Pip

The Buttery was a very comfortable apartment for ourselves and our two friends .
It was well equipped with all that we required and the welcome pack was adequate ...bottle of fizz was an added bonus.

We were a bit concerned that the kitchen tap was very loose and felt as if it would come off at any moment.
The shower control in the main bathroom was very stiff for elderly hands .
There were no instructions for operating the fire .

However we had a lovely stay in this centrally located apartment.

We stayed here for a week with our dog and were very impressed with everything. The cottage was in a perfect location with dog friendly pubs and tea rooms nearby.
The beautiful beach was a 10 minute walk away and there was a lovely walk along the river bank to the castle.

The apartment was excellent with fantastic attention to detail, it had everything we needed and more, with a welcome hamper fior us and one for Oakley. The added bonus was the walled garden 1 min walk around the corner, it was totally private and a lovely sun trap perfect for an evening picnic.

Thre were plenty of walks nearby and just a short drive to the other coastal towns and villages

A real gem of a property in the heart of Warkworth with the added benefit of a private garden just round the corner.
Well equipped, decorated to high standard with everything you need and more. The boot room is a great idea especially if you have dogs (or even children).
The apartment is quiet despite being on the main road and spacious. Parking not an issue on The Butts, never struggled to get a space close to the apartment.
Loved the idea of the wine rack, very unique idea.
Welcome basket is a lovely idea, would of been good if more local products had been in it.
Would recommend and plan to visit again myself.

We had a lovely stay at The Buttery this week. It is a very comfortable holiday let in a great location for exploring the Northumberland coast.

The bed was very comfortable so we slept very well. Good kitchen facilities. Boot room really appreciated to store sandy shoes and the dog to sleep! Mostly cleaned to a very high standard throughout. Parking was better than expected with ample street parking a minutes walk away. Soft lighting appreciated for the evening.

A few minor things that could be improved: the bin situation was a bit confusing as the bin schedule was out of date. It appears that glass is not accepted in the recycling here but no information how to recycle it alternatively. A few higher spots of the cottage were not cleaned to the usual high standard throughout. There is a bit much “decor” around the house including lots of fake flowers and grasses which appear faded and also make it difficult to find space to put anything down. In the kitchen it would be appreciated if at least one cupboard was left empty to enable space to store food during the stay.
