Sandpiper is a spacious and beautiful stone built cottage near the Northumbrian fishing town of Seahouses. Sleeps up to 8 with the benefit of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor. Awarded 5 stars with a GOLD award for excellence. We all had a fantastic stay and would definitely book again. The only downside was cleaners arriving at 9.40 when we had the house until 10am. We didn’t notify them we would be out earlier.

We stayed at Sandpiper for a week in August. It was our first time on holiday in Northumberland and what a place to stay. Has absolutely nothing everything you need and everything is catered for. The welcome baskets for ourselves and the dog were brilliant! The whole cottage was great, beds were super comfy, we loved the kitchen being so big that we could all 7 of us could sit together for meals. Also the new American style fridge/freezer is brilliant! My daughter loved the snug, she put Netflix on and the room was hers……….a perfect base for a perfect time in Northumberland. We’ll definately be back

The accommodation was superb and just as described
Slightly overlooked at the rear, but a good private garden
We all enjoyed our break and would recommend for family holidays

Excellent rooms and facilities for grandparents, parents and children aged13 and 9, each with own space but also with larger lounge and dining table to all be together. Good garden and gazebo for family barbecues, and excellent parking.
Shame about nearby cockerel at 0415 every morning (though obviously not a responsibility of the property owner).
Wonderful setting in attractive small development.

We had a lovely stay at Sandpiper’s. Great location and plenty of comfortable accommodation. Excellent kitchen, with everything we needed. The team at Coquet were very helpful over restaurant recommendations which helped use to enjoy a birthday week away with our friends.

A well appointed cottage that has everything a family could need. An excellent location with easy access to Seahouses. A fully enclosed garden, which was perfect for the dog.

We booked the Sandpiper to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with our family and were not disappointed with the accommodation. Our 2 grandchild aged 18 months and two and a half loved the space upstairs that was filled with toys.
With the cottage having 2 lounges we were able to use the small snug as a quiet room for children and adults.
The outside space was great with plenty of chairs and sitting areas.
The cottage was very clean and there was a well stocked kitchen.
I would recommend it and hopefully book other similar Coquet cottage

The cottage itself and the location was excellent. Very private and well stocked. The bread in the welcome pack was out of date otherwise it was a nice gesture.Handy for the beach and the town. We were only there for a weekend so couldn’t comment on eateries in the town. One huge disappointment was the cost of the electric car charging. £50 for one charge is daylight robbery. I have never paid anywhere near to that even at the super charger. It will certainly make me think twice about using you again.

We had a fantasic stay at Sandpiper with the family .The house is very well maintained and clean also within walking of Seahouses ,great for an evenings walk down to the beach

This is a very good property for a family with 2 reception rooms 4 bedrooms,a great kitchen diner and a small garden. It could do with the grass being cut more often in the growing season but otherwise is well set up for outside enjoyment including a covered seating area.

Beautiful house and a perfect location, being just a 15 minute stroll to the beach or into Seahouses itself.
Loved the welcome basket provided and the gorgeous toiletries in the numerous bathrooms. So lovely to have a bathroom for each bedroom.
Kitchen very well equipped with large amount of crockery, cutlery and glassware, cooking utensils etc but the small fridge was far too small for the number of occupants.
Very homely and comfortable with plenty of space for 4 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog.
Lovely outdoor seating space and garden.
The owners really have thought of all the extra little things that turn a good holiday home into a truly wonderful holiday home.

We visit Northumberland every year. This time was celebrating 40 th wedding with family from home and abroad. Sandpiper was perfect in every way, lots of room for people to chill out. All bedrooms were peaceful and super comfortable. Excellent kitchen , big enough for everyone and everything you need. Bigger fridge would be appreciated but it wasn’t a big deal. Easy access walking to seahouses, great garden also. We didn’t want to leave at the end of the week. Owners also sent us a lovely welcoming text. We would highly recommend sandpiper and hope to return. Thanks to everyone at coquet.
