Ryan Leigh Cottage is a spacious and very comfortable luxury cottage, with the benefit of 3 bedrooms which all have private bathrooms. Situated just yards from one of the best Gastro Pubs in Northumberland, The Cook and Barker, and in a great location for exploring the coastline and countryside, this cottage is cosy at all times of the year. Really enjoyed our stay in a fabulous cottage, great space, location, loved the finishing touches.
Great hamper on arriving, everything you need.
Tesco delivered to us, pub across the road, food excellent but service lets them down.
Great size garden with bbq.
Open fire and plenty of board games for fabulous cosy family evening
Good size comfortable Bedrooms and we all had our own bathrooms, really good for a large family.
Kitchen was well equipped, felt like home.
Great location, 5minutes from A1, 20 minutes away from many attractions.
Would highly recommended and will definitely return.

Ryan Leigh is an excellent choice for a stay in Northumberland
The property is extremely comfortable and within easy reach of the wonderful beaches and for such places as Craigside and Rothbury
We have stayed 3 times this year and intend to return next year

The property was perfect in every way. We were away for a special trip with my sister and friends and we really couldn’t fault a thing. The location was great, cottage spotless and perfect and the weather just made it all that little bit more special. We had dinner in the pub across the road one night which was lovely.

From the minute we walked in the door we felt relaxed, welcomed and knew we would have a good holiday and we did.

This is a 5 star holiday cottage, well appointed, kitchen had everything we needed and it was very comfortable.

We loved this accommodation and would definitely return.

We have stayed three times at Ryan Leigh
It is excellent accommodation extremely comfortable and private.The location is ideal M&S plus supermarkets 5 mins away in Alnwick .The coast with all its great beaches is 15-20 mins and Rothbury the same
We intend to continue to stay at Ryan Leigh when in Northumberland

We loved staying in Ryan Leigh Cottage, we are two couples who holiday together and have been in many self catering houses and this is one of the very best we have stayed in. The Conservatory was a great place to relax in at the end of the day. Also the location was perfect being across from the Cook & Barker Inn.

The cottage is very well kept and in a village with good access to other more famous attractions like Bamburgh Castle.and Seahouses. It has very comfortable beds, lounge seating and all necessary utensils, China and glass ware in the kitchen. When arriving it is a nice touch to receive the welcome pack. It was also comforting to know that when we had a query it was attended to very quickly by David.

Ryan Leigh is in a good position for both coast and countryside
It is a very comfortable bungalow in a quiet location with all the furnishings of good quality
It’s so easy to relax after a day out
We will continue to visit

The cottage was in a great location and across from the cook and barker pub with excellent food and value for money.
4 towels were dirty and had to wash them - carpets in bedroom were stained and need replacing (one rippled in bedroom with shower over the bath).
There were few mugs and glasses were on an open shelf and would collect dust
Very few oven trays and had to clean all cutlery prior to using.
The cottage did have excellent heating and lounge chairs were comfortable.
Although it states the rear garden is enclosed a small dog could get under the gap when gates on drive were closed.
We had a relaxing week - the proximity to the pub was a bonus.
Sadly wouldn’t stay again

Ryan Leigh is excellent and the best accommodation we have rented
Everything about it is first class
The location is very convenient for all the coastal beaches ,Alnwick and Cragside/Rothbury
The pub/restaurant directly across the road is also very good
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Ryan Leigh and will return next year

Very nice property which suited our party which included three people over 90. All facilities within property to high standard.
Location near A1 made it very easy to get around the local area.
Pub opposite highly recommended for evening meal.

The accommodation is on one level which is great for people with mobilty problems. The conservatory and garden are good for relaxing. The views accross the countryside are lovely. The location is good for exploring the area, just a short drive to the A1 and near to Alnwick and Alnmouth.
The Cook and Barker is accross the road and is a great place for a drink and good food.

My only observation would be that as promoted as dog friendly something should be done about gap under front gate.

Fabulous property for a multi generational get-together. Wonderful facilities and the bonus of being 20 yards from the local pub which serves amazing food.
