Oyster Cottage is a cosy cottage located in North Sunderland near the coastal town of Seahouses. Sleeping up to 4 guests across 2 bedrooms with 1 family bathroom and a ground floor WC. Oyster Cottage is a well presented, well appointed, clean and comfortable property, set in a quiet and attractive cul-de-sac, within easy walking distance of Seahouses town and the wonderful beach. A great base for exploring Northumberland. All communication from Coquet Cottages and the house owners, Andre and Ken, was comprehensive but not intrusive. The generous welcome hamper was nice touch, too. Highly recommended and we will definitely use Coquet Cottages again if and when we return to the area. Thank you Andre and Ken.

This is top-notch accommodation, providing everything you need for a great holiday.

It is clean, quiet, comfortable and welcoming and just a ten-minute walk from all the shops, restaurants, pubs and boat trips in Seahouses.

It is one of the best cottages we have stayed in with an excellent welcome hamper and all the equipment and facilities you could want.

You couldn't do better.

We spent 5 days at the Oyster Cottage at North Sunderland in early September with our dog Ted. On arrival we were amazed at the quality of the accommodation, it is very relaxing and furnished to a very high standard, Ken and Andre have created a very stylish and comfortable home to spend time in Northumberland.
The Welcome pack was amazing full of goodies which tide us over our stay.
Even our dog had some treats and essentials for his stay.
In all an amazing find which we will be booking for next year. Highly recommended and definitely deserves 5 stars.

First class immaculate accommodation. Ken and Andre the owners present a welcoming atmosphere and a welcome hamper second to none. There has obviously been a lot of thought about the needs of their guests as everything you can imagine is provided for. Highly recommend. Oyster Cottage is a brilliant base to tour the local area. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed at Oyster Cottage following a very bad experience with a different company who let us down by double booking. Our experience with Coquet Cottages could not have been more different - the professionalism shown from our first contact through to the follow up at the end of our holiday was exemplary. We really appreciated the level of personal service and it is clear both the company and their cottage owners uphold extremely high standards. Oyster Cottage was immaculate, the welcome hamper was more than we could have hoped for and the attention to detail throughout the accommodation made our stay all the more special. We would thoroughly recommend both the accommodation and the company itself.

Perfectly positioned cottages, centrally positioned for all the beautiful areas to visit.
The cottage was excellent throughout, and provided everything we could possibly need.
We loved our stay and would be happy to come again and happy to recommend as a great place to stay.

Three adults (a well in their middle-aged married couple in the main bedroom) and a dog very much enjoyed their stay at Oyster Cottage. Parking for two cars reserved, key box by the front door in easy eyesight, and beautifully furnished/decorated interior with an above average welcome pack. Even something for the dog.
Bathroom shower good flow, and upstairs and downstairs loo, fully stocked kitchen, lots of towels - everything that we needed was there.
It's a bit of a walk to the sea-front - but not that long that you'd take the car instead. And once there you can walk up to Bamburgh, or down to Beadnell, for a mooch and some grub, before returning.
There's plenty of food choices in Seahouses, we didn't get round to trying the hotel in North Sunderland (which can't be more than 100 yards away).
We would happily recommend to others.

Great cottage to a really high spec. A wonderful welcome pack for us and our dogs. A lot of thought has gone into providing everything you might need in the kitchen. The decor and interior furnishings were lovely. I’d definitely book again

A wonderful cottage with just a 10 minutes walk to St Aiden dunes and 15 minutes to the front street.

The soft furnishings, bedding, towels etc are of very good quality and the kitchen is well equipped. Parking is generous and the garden very neat and secure for our small dog.

The generous hamper and fresh flowers were a lovely kind gesture . We’d highly recommend Oyster cottage for a short or long stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Oyster cottage. We started well with Andre the owner informing us the cottage was available earlier than the designated time. And on arrival we were delighted to find a beautiful cottage and a very generous welcome hamper awaiting us. The cottage itself is stylish and very well furnished. The furniture and bed were extremely comfortable. The property is in an excellent location for viewing the Northumberland coast. We would recommend this property as one of the best we've stayed in with Coquet.

A wonderfully relaxing holiday thanks to Oyster Cottage and its owners who went the extra mile. Our welcome hamper was beyond expectations with extra thought given to our young child which was so appreciated.

We had a great 4 night stay in this pretty cottage. Excellent quality furnishings and wonderful attention to detail throughout. The owners have thought of everything to welcome their guests. We will return for longer next time.

Wow-what a great holiday we’ve just had! Oyster cottage is beautiful, gorgeous interiors and cute garden to enjoy the summer sunshine, and perfectly placed for a short walk into the village or beach or to jump in the car to go up and down the coast. The welcome hamper provided by the hosts Ken and Andre was off the chart amazing and tailored to us which was so thoughtful and they are super responsive hosts.
