Oaklands is a grand, spacious, and comfortable house that sleeps 12 guests plus an infant in 6 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms. On the ground floor, there is a bright lounge with an open art deco fireplace. The large kitchen diner offers a modern entertaining space whilst the formal dining room is ideal for hosting large family dinners. 2 dogs are welcome at this beautiful house. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Oaklands. The house has everything you need and was brilliantly clean and comfortable. A day in Amble and another on the nearby beach - ideal for a large family get-together.

Oaklands is a first class property, offering space and comfort. The furniture quality is good and standard of decor/design is above similar holiday homes. The downsides… the south facing patio loses the sun in the afternoon due to a high wall and trees to the west. Overall I would recommend.

The property was perfect for our visit, spacious, clean and more than comfortable enough for eight adults and one infant. A quiet location with easy access to Warkworth made for a very succesful visit. On the basis of our experience I would highly recommend using Coquet Cottages.

Beautiful house, ample size for 12 people without feeling on top of each other and extremely well equipped. We were a family ranging from 6-82 years old and spent a weekend here in February. We wanted to recreate Christmas so lots of food, drink and games!! Lovely walks to the beach and village where we had a lovely pub lunch and a little shop! My only regret is that we didn’t go for longer! The hosts contacted me before we arrived and were friendly and helpful. The little basket of goodies and fresh flowers was a lovely touch so thoughtful with something for everyone including the dogs!! I would love to experience the house in the summer with some Al fresco dining!! A hot tub would be a fantastic addition to the property!! Would highly recommend, thank you.

We found Oaklands ideal for an extended family gathering . It was lovely and warm , spacious , well equipped and in an ideal location for all that Warkworth and the Northumberland coast has to offer .

Oaklands was the perfect venue for our New Year family reunion. The house is tastefully furnished and decorated and the kitchen is fabulous. We were 6 adults and 6 teenagers and Oaklands provided us with plenty of space yet felt like a home. The location is ideal being a short walk to the heart of Warkworth and a short drive to Amble and Alnwick. We enjoyed lovely walks to the beach and along the river. Highly recommend this house.

We had a pre-Christmas gathering with great friends at Oaklands. The house works really well for a big group. Location to the village and beach is excellent. Even though the weather was awful with monsoonal rain, we were all comfortable and cozy by the fire and cooked up a storm in the very well equipped kitchen. Would love to revisit in spring.

A great stay in a perfect house in a beautiful setting. Everything was provided, welcome basket perfect for a winter arrival. Lucy the host very responsive and helpful. The booking process easy and instructions really clear.

We were a group of 6 longtime friends who all like our own rooms but the house would also be perfect for families and children

10 of us stayed and we had loads of space. The kitchen is the showstopper. We spent so much time here because it was set up in such a welcoming manner. Beds are comfortable & bathrooms are great.
Hands down best holiday home I've stayed in.

Ideal place for a family get together that accommodates up to 12 adults with dogs and up to 8 cars! Lovely location to walk into centre or Amble. Cosy and homely. Really enjoyed our stay and allowed us to make family memories. Check in is later than most at 5pm and check out is 10am, which felt a little early but otherwise no complaints.

This was the perfect house to celebrate mums 85th birthday kitchen was so well equipped we cooked 3 meals 3 breakfasts 2 lunches for whole family with ease dining perfect for formal dinner and living room great for party the snug was excellent play room for little children and utility good for storing and drying beach wear

A wonderful experience, as always with Coquet Cottages. We have stayed in Warkworth a number of times - this time was for a special family occasion and Oaklands was perfect for us to share our love for the Warkworth and Coquet experience with our extended family.

Oaklands is a wonderful property - perfectly suited to the size of our group (11 adults, 1 toddler, 2 dogs).

A large open kitchen / dining table (with separate dining room for our - thoroughly recommended - Dine Indulge experience), spacious bedrooms (4 en-suite), a large lounge (and separate, sizeable snug) - all spotlessly clean and welcoming.

Thoroughly recommended.
