North Star is a gorgeous apartment in the prestigious Malthouse Building, formerly the local brewery many moons ago. This stylish apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a spacious living area for 4. Equipped with all the latest technology such as a Bose Bluetooth speaker and Smart TVs in each bedroom, you'll want for nothing when staying here. 2 small dogs or 1 medium-sized dog is very welcome and there's private, secure parking for 1 car. Free Wi-Fi and free Digital Guidebook.

First visit to Alnwick for my wife and myself. North Star apartments absolutely perfect for us.
Very comfortable home from home apartment with many extras. Spotless clean. Well equipped.
Very welcoming and friendly hosts who provided lots of information about the property, restaurants/pubs, places to visit which was very appreciated.
Apartments is within short walking distance of Alnwick Castle and town amenities.
Coquet cottages also very good throughout the booking process.
I downloaded the Free Digital Guidebook where's there's lots of important and useful information which I found very helpful.

Cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We loved it so much on our first visit two years ago that we came back. Ideally situated for exploring Alnwick and the surrounding area and a complete home from home to relax in. New owners very helpful, friendly and readily available if there's a problem. Highly recommend.

An immaculate apartment in a central position with allocated parking. The welcome pack was much appreciated and one of the best we've received in quite some time. The apartment had everything we required for our week-long stay. There is a supermarket opposite and everything in Alnwick is in walking distance. We highly recommend North Star.

Everything about the North Star ensures that you will have an excellent holiday in Alnwick. The location could not be better and ease of access and private parking are a real bonus; the apartment is very well equipped, very comfortable and the owners have thought of everything to make it a perfect place to stay; the welcome basket was very generous and much appreciated. All the communication from both Coquet Cottages and the owners is straightforward and very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a holiday in the area.

This apartment was amazing. It was every bit as impressive in real life as it was in the photos. Communication was easy. Steve and Grant were very helpful and had loads of suggestions for sights and restaurants in the area. Parking was a breeze. The apartment was beautiful and extremely well equipped. I cannot think of anything that could be improved. We’ll definitely be back!

We love staying here. It really is a home away from home - the apartment is beautiful and has everything you could possibly want. It is very well appointed and so comfortable. The location is perfect - centrally located, but still quiet. The owners are lovely and very helpful. We couldn't ask for more!

we have again had a wonderful week staying in absolute luxury in North Star. The care and attention of hosts Steve and Grant is exquisite, the beds are so comfortable, the apartment is clean, well equipped and bright, and the attention to detail, and personal touches ice this cake perfectly.
We have stayed here for a good few years now, it is a holiday we all really look forward to as a family. I would highly recommend North Star to anyone coming to Alnwick, it is fabulous !

Beautifully furnished apartment in central but quiet location. Private parking and lift access a big plus. Kitchen well appointed and the welcome package was a nice touch. Thoroughly enjoyed our week stay.

After staying in this property 2 years ago we were looking forward to returning. The apartment is very well located in Alnwick and very comfortable. The apartment is showing signs of wear, e.g. damaged skirting board and broken blind, however it did not detract from our enjoyment. The apartment is very well equipped and furnished and was a pleasure to return to at the end of the day.

Hi there,
Normally we make it an offer never to return to a cottage/Apartment once we have been there but this one we would gladly return to. The owners are extremely friendly whilst we only met Steve & wee Margot ( But didn't meet Grant) the property and the location was 2nd to none.
The hamper was very good and well thought off. We have both been to Alnwick on many occasions over the years and we shall tell our friends about this place. Many Thanks to the hosts and to all the staff at Coquet cottages for having this property on there books and for making the booking details very easy to use.

North Star is a lovely, well equipped flat in a great central location in Alnwick. The flat felt roomy and was beautifully decorated. The owners were really helpful and let us know the flat was available earlier. They also thought about the dog treats left for us. We would definitely visit again

Our second stay in North Star. As good, if not better this time. A lovely welcome from Steve, Grant and ‘wee’ Margot accompanied a generous welcome hamper. Sumptuously furnished, spotlessly clean and conveniently close to Alnwick town centre and the beautiful coastline - we had a great week walking on the beaches, knowing we would be warm and cosy at North Star on our return! We will certainly be back!

Northstar far exceeded our expectations. The apartment was stunning, everything that you could possibly need. Wonderful welcome pack with all that we could need to start our weekend off on a high note. Great location for a short walk into Alnick with its wealth of eateries and shops. The apartment was so clean and equipped with quality furniture and furnishings. Fantastic communication with both Steve and Grant with virtually an immediate response. They provided an uptodate list of recommended places to eat and visit. The downloadable guide to Northstar was a fantastic idea and one we used for not only directions to find the apartment but all the other very useful advise too. We will certainly be booking again next year as it is perfect for touring both inland and the coast. Thank you!

A really lovely place to stay, communication with the owners was really good and helpful with lots of useful information about places to eat and visit in the area. The apartment was beautiful and well presented with everything we needed for a fantastic long weekend, The welcome basket was lovely with lots of nice goodies for us all. We had a wonderful stay at North Star. The apartment was beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. Steve and Grant (and Margot) were perfect hosts, and gave us lots of tips for restaurants and days out. The welcome pack was exceptional, including a birthday card for my daughter and sweets for the kids. The location was ideal for exploring Northumberland. We would highly recommend staying at North Star and hope to return in the future
