The location is wonderful and despite being central the nights were peaceful and time spent in the lovely garden undisturbed.
All the rooms were spotless and well appointed.

Another great stay in this beautiful house. Extremely well equipped with everything needed for staying in and a very central location for eating out. Close to all major attractions and great beaches. Dogs loved the long garden too.

We enjoyed the location at the heart of Warkworth High Street and a short walk from the beach. The property is really well presented, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was really well equipped and user friendly. The only minor suggestions would be that an empty cupboard to unpack supplies would be useful and also a draining board as the dishes wouldn't entirely fit in the slimline dishwasher at mealtimes.

Thank you for leaving a review following your holiday at No.31. We appreciate all feedback received from guests, so thank you for your comments regarding the cupboard and dish drainer. We look forward to welcoming you back to Northumberland and No.31 again in the future.

We had a lovely week at Nr 31 !! Quality fixtures and fittings and very clean. Felt genuinely dog friendly with great garden and doggy welcome pack !! Human welcome pack great too.
Great location close to dog friendly pubs and within walking distance of the beach and castle. Had concerns about parking 2 cars but no issues finding a space after trips out (and parking was free in the car park /street). Would definitely stay again if returning to Warkworth.

Spotlessly clean and well maintained but traffic noise a bit of an issue

Well situated in the centre of beautiful Workworth. Well equipped and well maintained. Very clean and tidy.
Nice garden to the rear of the property which would be a real bonus during good weather
The road outside is quite busy and there is only single glazing on the front windows (lounge and main bedroom). maybe this is due to planning or legal restrictions. However it can affect your sleep at night, often being woken around 6:00 am
If really think an investment should be made in double glazing at least to the front bedroom. If actual double glazing is not allowed then secondary double glazing can be effective, neat and cost effective
In all respects Number 31 can be recommended except for traffic noise which would make me hesitate about booking again unless the sound insulation issue was addressed

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our property, Number 31 in Warkworth. We are pleased to hear that you found the house well situated, well equipped, well maintained, clean and tidy, and enjoyed the garden during good weather. We would like to address your concerns about the noise from the road outside and the single glazing on the front windows. As you mentioned, the property is located in a historic village and there are planning and legal restrictions in place that limit what changes we can make to the house. Once again, thank you for your feedback and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back to our property in the future.

We loved the style of the house, especially the spacious kitchen overlooking a beautiful, well maintained garden. The house is on the main road through Warkworth and is noisy during the day. We had the option of the back bedroom at night. Warkworth has everything, with the boutique shops, cafes, walks by the river and easy access to the enormous beach. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Great place to stay, walks from the cottage without having to use a car. Central village location too.
Accomodation excellent and attention to detail very good, down to the app detailing how everything works in the cottage … stopped us having to fiddle with the cooker to get it to work!

Excellent Location

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful cottage. It was very well equipped with everything we needed for self catering and centrally located in the village with a good choice of dog friendly places to eat. There were many walks from the door and parking in the village square was not an issue at all. Warkworth is a great village too, everyone very friendly and welcoming especially Bertram's for breakfast and Gray's for great gifts and treats. We will be back. Thank you.

Wonderful week in Warkworth!

This was our 2nd visit to no.31 and it was just as lovely as we remembered it. The property has been very considerately and tastefully decorated throughout.
The heart of the property and it's biggest selling point is the kitchen dinner with double door access to the garden and patio. Perfect when the weather suits and essential when you have to dogs.
The location of the house itself is fantastic. Right in the middle of the village, with pubs, restaurants, cafes and a couple of shops literally on your doorstep.
It's also a great base to further explore the Northumbrian coastline, although we rarely ventured further than Warkworth beach this time as its such a beautiful place.

Lovely base from which to explore

No 31 was lovely, very modern and clean. Perfect for exploring the area and the garden was great for the dogs (though would benefit from more regular weeding as they are starting to take over in some places).

The only reason I scored lower on comfort was because of the traffic noise. We hadn’t realised the property wouldn’t be double glazed and we’re not used to so much passing traffic so we did struggle to sleep (not helped by the fact there was a diversion on so the road was busier than usual, which clearly couldn’t be helped!)

The kitchen was very well set up and the welcome hamper lovely, as we’ve come to expect from Coquet owners. The voucher in lieu of a bottle of wine was a nice touch (honestly the government need to get a grip!)

Price wise it was a bit more expensive than other cottages of the same standard that we’ve stay in with Coquet cottages and this might put some people off.

All in all though it was a very lovely place to stay for the week.

Excellent yet again

Great position in a lovely village with pubs, cafe, supermarket etc all within walking distance, as well as a superb beach and walks along the river.
The dog loved it and the garden is truly dog proof!
