A beautifully restored 3-storey village home on the main street in the heart of historic Warkworth Village. Impressive decor, enclosed patio, wood burning stove. Sleeps 6 adults and 2 children up to age 16, 1 small dog welcome (no bigger than Jack Russell-size). Free Wi-Fi throughout. Parking on street.

A lovely property in a great location. My second time of using Coquet Cottages and the service is still the same high standard, I wouldn’t hesitate to use again.

A well presented property with good amenities. The property was comfortable and well located.
Our only problem was the check-out time of 10.00 am was an hour too early.

Lovely sympathetically restored house in the centre of historic Warkworth.
Parking in street was not a problem except for loading and unloading luggage. You have to navigate the traffic!
Well equipped kitchen for self catering and lots of choice in the area for eating out.
The locals were all very welcoming.
Great location for exploring Northumberland.

Eider cottage was a beautiful place to stay. We travelled with my autistic son and 79yr old mum. It was home from home.. We'll appointed and luxury feel . Great quality fittings and kitchen well appointed. Top floor got very warm but fans were very effective.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped. The steps are quite steep for very elderly guests so should be a consideration if there are any mobility issues. The back garden is a lovely spot. Warkworth is great location and the cottage is very centrally located. I would highly recommend this cottage.

lovely house to stay in. Only criticism was that there were no blinds in the sky light in the top bedroom, which as we stayed in May the room was very light very early in the morning

Eider is a fabulous cottage that has everything you need and more. Very high quality, spacious and comfortable. We have stayed in many cottages in the village and were delighted with this addition to the portfolio. We highly recommend for a quality stay. The owners were also very accommodating in allowing our dog to stay.

We had a fantastic weekend at Eider Cottage, the house was perfect for our 2 families staying. It was clean and beautifully presented. The additions of the Chrismas tree and welcome hamper were lovely extras which the children enjoyed.
The location was excellent for us and we loved the village not to mention the friendly atmosphere at the masons arms. Would recommend highly and we will be looking to return again.

Very well appointed cottage in a nice village. Good base for exploring the area, and even better when you come back and find a parking space right across the road! There is loads of space in the cottage, but take note, there are a lot of stairs. Everything you need is provided and of high quality. Great communication from the housekeeper too. Great welcome hamper too.

We had a lovely stay in Eider Cottage, this is the second year we have been to this cottage as we loved it last year and it didn't disappoint this year.
Both years we have taken 3 generations of the family and it is perfect for everyone.
Its a luxurious cottage in a great location, there is something for everyone, the kids loved the beach, Warkworth has a stunning beach and the grandparents loved the little village with the tea rooms and restaurant's and river walks.
The house is great, the master bedroom is stunning and it has a real sociable kitchen and relaxing living room.
We hope to be back again next year as we love being in Northumberland and the cottage is perfect. Thank you!

Fabulous cottage in centre of Warkworth village.
The cottage is luxurious with all mod cons. Four good bedrooms and three well appointed bathrooms.
The cottage is perfectly located close to the general store and a number of local pubs (serving good sensibly priced food).
Plenty of great walks in the local area (close to the beach and river Coquet).
Two recommended improvements as follows:
1. The mattress in the rear 1st floor bedroom is extremely uncomfortable and needs replacing. My sister complained of backache after sleeping on it.
2. A safety bannister is required at the bottom of the stairs. It is only 4-5 stairs but lacks any form of handrail.

Eider Cottage was perfect for our multi-generational stay. We loved the location, the space on offer, the style, decor and facilities . The kitchen breakfast room was lovely and spacious and we enjoyed breakfast in the courtyard garden. Liked the rocking chair too! The living room had a nice feel and the armchairs were comfortable - perfect to relax in. The top floor room was superb and a real selling point. The three bathrooms were great with nice big showers. Loved being able to cross the road to village shops, cafes, pubs and short stroll uphill to castle. Particularly enjoyed Bertrams cafe and pub dinner at the Mason’s. Bus stops outside of property and we were delighted when we got off and were right outside the door! We met the owner too who was very friendly. All in all a perfect stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend both Eider cottage and Coquet Cottages.

Thank you so much for your glowing review of Eider Cottage! It sounds like you've really made the most of the local attractions and things to do in the village, quite literally on your doorstep! Eider Cottage is great for groups as there's so much space, especially in the master bedroom on the top floor which is like a suite in itself! We hope to see you again soon.
