We stayed for our Golden Wedding celebration week and everything met our expectations and more. The rooms and decor were just beautiful not to mention the wonderful view of the river from the bedrooms. The welcome hamper was full of lovely local produce plus one for the dog. She soon found the bowl of fresh water too on our arrival. Wonderful scones too and flowers. Coquet cottages know exactly what their customers expect and always live up to a very high standard

Warkworth is a magical little town and Coquet View lived up to our expectations. Beautiful view of the river in a peaceful location. Lovely welcome basket and friendly customer service.. Sure we will be back ...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Coquet Cottages. The standard, location and cleanliness of our cottage were excellent. We appreciated very much the arrival hamper and flowers and all the information provided with the app - excellent recommendations for days out/events/bars & restaurants. All instructions for our stay, both in advance and during were very clear and helpful. The cottage itself was beautiful and in an idyllic location, it was really well equipped with every small detail addressed which made our stay so very enjoyable. I would strongly recommend both the company and cottage.

This was our third visit to Warkworth, and Coquet View is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in.
The house is exceptionally well equipped and maintained, with a lovely enclosed courtyard and large garden if you are lucky enough to see the sun as we did.
It’s location overlooking the river and just a short walk to the centre of the village make it the ideal base for exploring Warkworth and the surrounding area.
We will definitely return.

Fantastic stay with Coquet cottages as always. A few pieces of furniture are becoming a bit dated and would benefit from a bit TLC but certainly did not take away from what was a lovely weekend away

A very relaxing end of the year stay at Coquet View. The property is really well appointed in a fabulous position overlooking the river. The kitchen has everything you think you may need, and then more. Excellent communication with the Coquet team for any questions. The beds and linen are extremely opulent and comfortable. The welcome pack and flowers were of a very high standard with some very thoughtful touches.The only downside is that we only stayed for one week. We were moved to Coquet View after our original cottage was unavailable and are extremely grateful to Julie for offering this alternative.

Coquet Cottages offer excellent properties for holiday let - and Coquet View didn’t fall short. It offered clean comfortable accommodation of a high standard. It’s location in Warkworth, across the road from the River Coquet, presented a lovely outlook from the lounge and two of the bedrooms. The complimentary welcome pack was first class and far superior to any we’ve had before - our two small dogs were also made to feel welcome with their own welcome treats..

Warkworth itself provides a good base to explore Northumberland and has a couple of good cafes and pubs offering meals, good wine at reasonable prices and good beer.

A truly lovely house in a great location for exploring Northumberland.Period charm and excellent cleanliness throughout the property. A first class taste of Northumberland Hamper was a welcoming touch. The dogs also enjoyed their doggie treats.
The secure , pretty garden and courtyard were excellent for our active dogs as was the short trip to the wonderful local beach and the riverbank opposite the house.
Only slight issue was filling the bath tubs We would definitely recommend Coquet View and enjoyed our all too short stay.

We loved our stay at Coquet View. Warkworth is a fantastic location- gorgeous beach and walks by the river. The house was fantastic and well appointed- a bit fussy decor wise, but a really lovely house. Thank you! Hamper was much appreciated and the dogs loved their treats too!!!

If you are after a fabulous luxury house suitable for a range of age groups then this is perfect. The riverside location is beautiful but yet only a few minutes walk into the village centre and a short drive from many of Northumberlands' beautiful beaches and attractions. The photos do not do the property justice for the size of the building and the luxury of the fixtures and fitting and how well equipped it was!. The welcome hampers for humans and dogs were very welcome indeed! We appreciated all the little touches - dog towels, high quality towels and bedding, use of coffee machine. We only had one niggle where the previous occupants had not put the green in out for emptying and so it was full when we arrived. I popped into the Coquet Cottages shop in the village to let them know and this was speedily resolved with the property owner even coming and changing the bin themselves - above and beyond customer service! I feel I have been totally spoilt with this property when looking for future holidays and would love to return in the future.

Coquet View is an excellent holiday home. Very spacious, good facilities, superb location.

A couple of minor issues:
1) Some windows could not be opened in the living room & kitchen.
2) There are a large number of ornaments in the house that could easily be damaged by young children. We spent a fair amount of time making sure our excited 5 year old and very curious 14 month old grand children did not knock anything off!

Coquet View is a lovely property in a wonderful location overlooking the river. Wonderful to have two equal sized bedrooms with river views. Easy parking right outside the front door is a bonus and the enclosed rear garden and private courtyard provide great outdoor spaces.

Beautiful house in a wonderful location. It had everything we needed and the patio and garden areas were lovely. Only negative was one of the beds was a bit hard and the floor areas could have been a bit cleaner.

Coquet View was a beautiful Georgian home is a perfect location by the river. Perfect accommodation for a holiday with older children. The courtyard by the kitchen is a sun trap plus there is a lawned garden beyond. We really enjoyed being in Warkworth.
