After undergoing a complete restoration and renovation in 2020-2021, Copperfield House now presents beautifully for couples and small families. You can reach the main street of Alnwick in just a couple of minutes and Alnwick Castle on foot in just 15 minutes. Enjoy spacious rooms, a wood-burning stove, and beautiful decor. Sleeps 4-5 guests, free Wi-Fi, and 2 dogs welcome.

Great cottage in a great location, copperfield house has everything you could ever need. Very well equippped kitchen, comfy beds and amazing bathroom. Wonderful service from the owners after we had forgotten some items, they posted them on to us. So kind

This house is spacious, well looked after and very comfortable with all one needs for a relaxing stay.

The bathroom is truly stunning, the sitting room is lovely and cosy. All is of a really high standard and level of comfort akin to a high end hotel.

We'll be back.

Copperfield house was exceptionally clean and the perfect base for our family to explore Northumberland. We have 3 children and there was ample space for all of us to sleep, cook and relax here. We never had trouble finding a parking space on the street outside.

A comfortable cottage with good facilities and excellent location. A few minutes walk to the centre of Alnwick where there there is plenty to see and good restaurants. The cottage was dog friendly and it was appreciated even a little doggy pack was provided.

We had a lovely time at Copperfield house. The location is a 5 minute walk from the shops/town centre - we’d highly recommend Barter Books (which is slightly further) and Adam and Eve does a great Sunday roast!
Alnwick is a good location to get to around Northumberland.
The cottage was cosy and well thought through with good facilities, nice to have the fire and there was a lovely welcome hamper too!
Parking is on street, we were able to get a space every day within a minute or two walk, even at the weekend.

With have just returned from a wonderful break at Copperfield House. It was so well equipped a real home from home. Beds are so comfortable and the amazing copper bath was fantastic. Martin is a fabulous host and was so helpful and kind. 5 stars are not enough.
