Apple Tree Barn is a gorgeous holiday cottage nestled in a converted steading on the outskirts of pretty Denwick Village, just outside of Alnwick town. This pretty cottage is spacious yet cosy and accommodates up to 6 guests. Apple Tree Barn allows 2 dogs, and has a large, enclosed garden with beautiful countryside views. It has a south-facing patio to enjoy dining alfresco and a wood-burning stove for the cooler months. Free Wi-Fi, private allocated parking for 1 car, additional parking nearby and welcomes two small-medium size dogs (no bigger than a Spaniel). Free digital guidebook.

The most relaxing holiday. Totally luxurious in every way. A real home from home.Beautiful garden, comfy beds, loved Alexa in each room too. We will be back soon.

We had a lovely family holiday for a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. It was a very quiet and peaceful place to sleep at night and the garden was great for the kids to play in and they loved the summer house. Near to all our favourite places so worked really well for us.

Apple tree barn was a delightful house. Very relaxing with everything that you needed, well equipped kitchen, huge lounge with comfortable sofas. The summer house was a bonus but unfortunately the weather wasn't behaving it's self. We were able to sit outside and watch the wildlife once or twice. Plenty of places to visit Bamburgh Castle, Cragside, Alnwick for your groceries. Also not to forget the long stretches of beautiful sandy beaches. Would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone.

A comfortable home with a welcoming feel. Outdoor areas including the views were great, we and our dog really enjoyed the space.
We much appreciated the thoughtful extra touches including torches, automatic toilet lights, alexas, TVs as well as food and drink supplies.

From the moment we walked through the door we just felt at home. Everything has been thought of at apple tree barn and we especially loved the extra touches in the rooms. The welcome basket was much appreciated and loved the Valentine’s Day themed extras. We couldn’t fault the house at all but the location is just as perfect. It is so close to all Northumberland has to offer. It was our first time in the area and we will definitely be back as lots more to explore.

We had a wonderful holiday at Apple Tree Barn.

The barn is beautifully decorated and is great for entertaining, we had a couple of dinner parties and the kitchen is fully equipped for hosting a large dinner.

The location is great and we felt thoroughly at home.

Thank you to Lisa for being such a wonderful host.

We’ll be rebooking and can’t wait for another fantastic holiday.

Fantastic accommodation with everything you could ask for! Nice big rooms which were excellently presented with the added bonus of a large enclosed garden for our dog, and us, to enjoy. The summer house was an added bonus where we could sample a bottle of wine looking out over the fields watching the sun go down. This is one of the best places we have stayed in. It was like a home rather than a holiday rental. It was a property you could move straight into and call home. It was exactly what we look for when choosing a place to stay. That’s what made it stand out for us. A lovely rural and quiet location but close enough to amenities. Both of us have been very impressed from the start to the end. It all felt very personal to us.

What a lovely cottage. Spacious, well equipped and stylish.
Loved: large rooms, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, decor, big garden with great views, quiet.
Perfectly situated for exploring Northumberland.
Downsides: no footpaths from the cottage to walk, could only walk the dog down the same track and back.

Apple Tree Barn is everything you could hope for. Great location for visiting the Northumbrian coast as long as you have a car - 10 minutes from pretty much anywhere. The cottage itself is absolutely stunning - great size rooms, all beautifully finished and a lovely garden. Plenty of room for the five of us and a dog. My only complaint is that it makes other staying in other holiday cottages disappointing!
