Cherry Tree Cottage in Warkworth sleeps 8, features 4 bedrooms (one en-suite), a private garden, free Wi-Fi, and welcomes two small-medium size dogs. Walk to the castle, pubs, shops, beach, and cafés nearby.

An excellent short break!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cherry Tree Cottage. The house is gorgeous, the beds are the most comfortable we have ever slept in, there was plenty of seating in the living room and the garden was lovely - just a shame we didn't have slightly warmer weather or we would have been sat outside on the seating area, which is very private. Our two dogs loved the garden as they had plenty of space to run around and roll on the grass! There was a delicious welcome pack when we arrived; bread, butter, milk, scones, coffee, tea, biscuits and juice! It was a 2 min drive into Amble which we loved and we were close to the River Coquet which is great for nice walks and picnics. A couple of very minor points - we had an issue with the bins when we arrived which I notified Coquet Cottages about. The rubbish bin was really overflowing when we arrived and we received a text message to put the bin out an hour after we arrived, which was slightly irritating because of the state of it. It looked as though previous holiday makers maybe hadn't put it out so we ended up sorting it on our day of arrival. Another suggestion would be to have at least one more tv as there were 3 of us and we wanted to watch different things but there was only one tv. A house this size could really do with more due to the amount of people it can hold. There is plenty of space to park outfront, although there is a green directly outside of the house, so cars need to be parked maybe 12 yards away on the kerb but it wasn't a problem as the road is exceptionally quiet. All in all a great stay at Cherry Tree and we'd definitely recommend staying here and we'd love to come back!

Thank you so much for your lovely review of Cherry Tree Cottage, we're absolutely delighted to hear that you had such an enjoyable stay. It's wonderful to know you found the house comfortable and well equipped, and that your dogs had a great time exploring the garden! We're so pleased you enjoyed the welcome pack and made the most of the location, with its lovely walks and proximity to Amble. We really appreciate your constructive feedback as well. We’re sorry about the issue with the bins on arrival, that’s certainly not the welcome we’d want for our guests. We've passed this on to the housekeeper to help ensure this doesn’t happen again in future. Thank you again for your kind words and thoughtful feedback. We’d be delighted to welcome you back to Cherry Tree Cottage in the future!

Lovely stay for 3 Nights.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here over the weekend. We were greeted with a lovely welcome basket with local bread and scones and even treats for my dog which he loved!
Very spacious and well equipped. Two bedrooms were en-suite which my step kids loved! Beds were so comfy and immaculate. Everything was great would definitely recommend.

This is a very comfortable, spacious and well equipped cottage, ideal for our multi-generational party. The situation on the outskirts of the village is very quiet and ideal for exploring the area, there was no issue parking on the road outside the property but we did holiday at half-term. The play park which is almost next door was an added bonus for our little grand daughter.

We had an enjoyable week at Cherry Tree Cottage.
The kitchen and facilities were very good.
It's a sizeable property perfect for a family to enjoy.
It has a good size garden and a lovely play area just a couple of minutes from the property which can be accessed without crossing the road.
Didn't like the HIVE technology for the heating as we had no previous experience.
However, used the hand held control unit to operate the Heating manually, with no issues.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review following your stay at Cherry Tree Cottage. We are delighted to hear you had a comfortable stay at the property. We appreciate your comments regarding the HIVE system and are thrilled to hear that you managed to control the heating with the handheld unit. We do provide instructions in each individual guidebook for heating systems as they vary so greatly and we hope this helped too. We look forward to welcoming you back to Northumberland again in the future.

I booked only the week before the holiday so not really a lot to choose from at a sensible price. The property has been upgraded and it looks amazing. It was too large really as just me and my dog. There are 4 good sized bedrooms, 2 ensuite and a family bathroom, large kitchen diner and generous comfy lounge. The bed downstairs is very comfortable. Lovely garden too which is secure for dogs and children as is the front garden if you make sure the gates are closed. Parking is on the road, not very busy. The neighbours are very friendly and stop for a chat. I would definitely book again even if it just me. Great value for money
