Brada house is lovely. This modern, bright, comfortable and very clean three bedroom barn conversion was perfect for our family and cocker Spaniel.

We have stayed in Golorum a few times now and it's a top location for countryside walks and accessing the tremendous beaches.

An issue with missing front door key on arrival resulting in a 1 hour wait in the garden after a three hour drive resulted in damaged frozen goods from our supermarket shop which was most frustrating. And to add to this, there were missing hygiene & cleaning products inside the house once we had the key.

The cleaning item issues were quickly resolved by the owner of the property.

Big plus features... welcome goodies lovely (thank you!), delightful relaxing lounge and super kitchen diner with a selection of games.

Unfortunately we won't be staying here again as the cost has increased considerably for next summer, 2026.

Saying that, we do definitely recommend the house.

This cottage was perfect for our family- a good size, well laid out and well stocked. Really nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. There was ample parking. It was a great base for exploring Bamburgh and beyond and I would definitely recommend to others.

We loved Brada House as a base for our first visit to Northumberland. The house is modern and very well equipped in all aspects in the kitchen and everywhere else. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. There was helpful material to browse about the areas attractions, beaches and restaurants together with other reading materials including area specific novels by well known local author LJ Ross. Even board games were provided in case the weather kept you inside. In short, all bases were covered topped off by a really nice welcome hamper and sample toiletries. The property is not cheap but it is good value and in this instance you do very much get what you pay for.

Brada House is in a lovely setting , a mile away from busy Bamburgh but with good views of the sea from the bedrooms. It is comfortably furnished and well equipped. Gardens at the front and back are enclosed and have seating for relaxing outdoors and are not overlooked. We have rented many houses in this area over the years and this must count as one of the best.

This is a fantastic property located just 5mins from Bamburgh beach with a high standard of cleanliness and is well equipped with just about everything you need. The new owners have carried out a refurb which is tastefully done. The welcome hamper was a nice surprise after our long journey and the grandchildren loved the toys etc. This was our second visit and we hope to go back again, by far the best property we have ever stayed in - we love it for it proximity to the beach and of course the local butcher- Bamburgh bangers are a must!

Brada House is a very lovely property, very well appointed, comfortable and in a great location for visiting beautiful Northumberland. The house is in a very quiet and private location but is just a mile from Bamburgh and the spectacular coastline.
The hosts provided everything required for a great stay, the kitchen particularly contains all that is required to cook a full meal, plus plenty of crockery & glasswear.
Our only slight comfort niggle was that the sofas are so huge that (being on the shorter side) we weren’t able to sit on them, we had to ‘lounge’. Not normally a problem, except there were no occasional tables, so there was nowhere to put your drink whilst lounging. The coffee table seemed miles away!
Will definitely be back (with a couple of small camping tables)!

This was our second stay in Brada House and we will be back. The cottage is well kitted out with high spec equipment and furnishings. The beds are really comfy which is always a bonus when away from home. The garden was secure for our dog. It really feels ike a home from home. The situation just outside Bamburgh is perfect, especially for fabulous beach walks

Brada House chosen for its amenities, 2 good bathrooms and downstairs wc. Ideal since 5 of us. Sofas, dining chairs and beds all very comfortable providing a good nights rest after busy days. We had 2 small dogs with us and the safe garden was great whether outside to the front or in the sunny courtyard.
Kitchen well equipped and equipment easy to operate.
Quality towels and bed linen, also beach towels was a treat. Welcome hamper was really appreciated.
We loved the location being so close to Bamburgh and spectacular beach as well as the other tourist attractions.

The cottage far exceeded our expectations, it was really lovely. Decorated beautifully and fully loaded with everything you'll need for your stay.

Our kids loved it and felt very at home.

Inside and outside of the house everything is done to a high standard. Externally, the gardens were very peaceful. The views of the fields were lovely.

We stayed for a week so it was handy to have access to the garage which contained an additional fridge freezer.

The main road along form the house leads straight into Bamburgh and is maybe around 1 mile away.

Communication from both Coquet and the property owners was brilliant.

I honestly, couldn't have asked for anything more. Perhaps less rain and more sun.

Would definitely book with Coquet in the future and would 100% be happy to stay at Brada again.

Brada House is a lovely new home with every facility you could need. Just one mile straight down to Bamburgh town and castle, with places to eat and a delicious pie shop!
There were five of us and we had plenty of room, great secure garden for our dog too. The beds were very comfortable so slept very well. Superb sandy beaches right along the coast and within easy reach of lovely Warkworth, Amble and Holy island.
We all enjoyed our family get-together in this well-equipped house and were welcomed with a generous and tasty welcome pack.
Would most definitely recommend Brada House, and Coquet Cottages were a pleasure to deal with too, making the booking so easy.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The house is extremely well appointed, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The welcome pack and hamper were just delicious. The accommodation even catered for our two dogs.
