Squire Farm is located in the beautiful Redlake Valley in South Shropshire, not far from the historic town of Ludlow. It comprises two very different self-catering cottages on a small working farm with sheep, horses, chickens, dogs and cats - and guinea fowl. The farm access is via a farm track, which means that the property is generally quiet, peaceful and secure. There are lots of walks from the farm with beautiful views and breathtaking scenery; it has been a highly contested area in the past and has plenty of history to explore, including a hill fort within a few hundred metres of the door.
If you want olde worlde charm in a rural setting this is a great place to stay. The cottage is full of character with a big open inglenook fireplace with logs provided. It was clean, comfortable and cosy. Set on a farm with beautiful views of surrounding hillside, a lovely garden to sit and while away hours watching red kites and the horses in the adjoining field. Convenient for visiting Shropshire towns and villages with shops not too far away.

Every day we were greeted by...more
