Coachingmans Cottage is a cosy 330 year old Welsh stone cottage snugly situated in the welcoming sleepy hamlet of Trecastle. Freshly refurbished to 5 star quality for 2019 the Cottage sits proudly in the Western area of the Brecon Beacons National Park and only 25 yards from the Castlecoaching Inn. The cottage retains all its historic character and charm whilst providing guests with life’s modern essentials. These include WiFi, Log burner, Sky TV (Sports & Movies) family games & more.

We have stayed here twice once when it rained all week and this time in the sun. Both times have been wonderful. The little garden is a sun trap, so we enjoyed that at the end of the day. The log burner last Autumn made for cozy nights. The cottage is really well appointed with super comfy sofas and beds. The kitchen has all you need for your home cooking. The location is excellent for exploring Wales with so many walks to enjoy. Parking was never an issue we always managed to park right outside the cottage. The biggest thing that could be done to improve and make the cottage perfect in every aspect would be to install a blackout roller blind in each bedroom as there is a viciously bright halogen street light that is on all through the night and makes the bedroom very bright. It did spoil my sleep which is a shame as the bed is soooo comfy. If you book this cottage you won’t be disappointed, and you get a really lovely welcome hamper too! ❤️

Coachingman's Cottage was a great place for a short break in Brecon Beacons. The cottage was cozy and comfortable - the sofas were amazing and the log burner was much appreciated. Loved having the pub a few doors down. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and loved that it was dog friendly. The nearest shop is about 3 miles away, so that's something to note, as we arrived after a long drive and then had to go back out for basics.

A gorgeous cottage, clean and well equipped, and perfectly placed for scenic walks and the Castle Coaching Inn, which does excellent food.
