Kingairloch Estate is located on the Morvern Peninsula along the coastline of Loch Linnhe and is only a three hour's drive from Edinburgh or Glasgow.
Within it's 14,000 acres of staggering scenery are eight unique self catering properties ranging in size from accommodating two, four, six and ten. All properties stand alone and have their own character with each having magnificent views of the mountains, glens lochs or rivers.
They are all well equipped with most having either wood burning stoves or fireplaces and up to two pets are welcomed in each.
Change overs on either a Friday or Saturday for seven night breaks.
Guests to Kingairloch will enjoy the rugged untouched beauty of the West Coast of Scotland and also get to see a wide variety of wildlife such as red deer, otters and eagles. There are numerous walking and cycling routes on the estate and when in season guests can enjoy fishing and other traditional sporting activities.
Not the first time we've stayed here and won't be the last. The location is perfect for a quiet relaxing break with amazing views (watch out for seals, otters and stags going past) and plenty of scenic walks from the doorstep.
A break at Kingairloch is like no other. It is so peaceful you are able to totally relax and unwind. With so many beautiful walks on the Estate and the lovely restaurant we had absolutely no reason to leave. We arrived for a long weekend on Friday and didn't leave the Estate until Monday.
The cottages was cosy and comfortable and even the heavy rain couldn't spoil our weekend. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the view from the dining table is stunning. Perfect spot in the morning with a coffee.

The staff at Kingairloch Estate were so very helpful and absolutely friendly.
A wonderful breath of fresh air to be around an area that cares for its visitors, a healthy balance of wildlife conservation and care for the estate.
I visited mainly for some wildlife photography, particularly Pine Marten and Otter. Unfortunately I didn't see either, but that's wildlife for you. Although Im pretty certain there is a pinemartin up in the roof space of the cottage. I could hear him/her moving about every night/early morning.
Our first visit to The Old Post Office, our tenth to Kingairloch. This property is hidden away but gives you the best views and encounters with wildlife. We had stags rutting on the lawn, birds galore feeding and the regular pine marten in the evening. We had a box of veg from the garden all excellent in flavour! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the walks on the estate, different ones everyday. Even on the rainy day a wet and windy walk followed by the log fire lit was bliss! One trip made into Strontian to the shop otherwise we spent all week around the estate.
Our 6th Holiday on the estate and it's still amazing. The staff are very helpful and friendly, responding to any issue or question that may arise quickly and efficiently. We asked for somebody to show us parts of the estate we can not reach on our own and John took us for a drive, his knowledge of the area was excellent.
The Steadings is now in need of a good re-condition, but it is such a well used cottage that ths is only to be expected (ceiling in hall way, broken power point, shower control). It is however well stocked in the kitchen and has a range of books / puzzles.

Have stayed in Curlew cottage many times. Warm and welcoming, equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay.
Views from every window are stunning, a variety of walks from the doorstep.
Surrounded by an abundance of wildlife.
Looking forward to our next stay.
We have had a perfect 2 weeks on the Kingairloch Estate. The wildlife entertained us nearly every night, pine martins enjoying their peanut and jam sandwiches. The red stags amblerling around the cottages. The sea eagles soaring way above the cottage, it has been amazing.
The staff are so welcoming, and friendly.
The meals we had at the boat house were fabulous, well worth a visit.
Thank you team Kingairloch you are all doing a fabulous job!
We have already booked for next year.
