Kingairloch Estate is located on the Morvern Peninsula along the coastline of Loch Linnhe and is only a three hour's drive from Edinburgh or Glasgow.
Within it's 14,000 acres of staggering scenery are eight unique self catering properties ranging in size from accommodating two, four, six and ten. All properties stand alone and have their own character with each having magnificent views of the mountains, glens lochs or rivers.
They are all well equipped with most having either wood burning stoves or fireplaces and up to two pets are welcomed in each.
Change overs on either a Friday or Saturday for seven night breaks.
Guests to Kingairloch will enjoy the rugged untouched beauty of the West Coast of Scotland and also get to see a wide variety of wildlife such as red deer, otters and eagles. There are numerous walking and cycling routes on the estate and when in season guests can enjoy fishing and other traditional sporting activities.
This is our third stay in The School House. Kingairloch is the most beautiful location. The views are stunning with reasonable access to other islands. As for the School House it is a lovely property. The main bedroom is wonderful to wake up in, with Stags walking past your bedroom window and the wonderful views. Everything we needed was in the house, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need. We used the washing machine in the utility. Each morning and evening we used the seating area outside it was so relaxing. The house has more than enough seating area in the lounge whic...more
The Gate Lodge was possibly the best holiday cottage we have ever stayed in. It was warm, comfortable and the views were amazing. It felt like we were coming home. We were also blessed with wildlife and it was nice to see the deer each evening.
The estate had lovely walks and it was nice to be able to fish on the river only a short distance away.
I am certain that we shall return in the future.
Last minute trip for a short break feel so lucky to have been twice this year. Wildlife never disappoints or the scenery, it’s a place that just keeps pulling you back. Just wow
The loch side location of Seaview Cottage is magnificent.
Although we had a lot of rain and didn't see very much wildlife, we really enjoyed our stay.
The walks on the estate were lovely and we enjoyed visiting Lochaline.
Just one suggestion, some of the interior furnishings such as lampshades and mirrors would benefit from updating and a few pictures on the walls would be nice.
We would love to stay here again.
The Old Post Office was perfect for our secluded holiday and the scenery was amazing. Our dog loved walking around the estate and having deer on the front lawn was fantastic. The food and service at the restaurant was top class.
A cosy cottage with panoramic views over Loch Linnhe and beyond. Comfortable and well equipped. The main bedroom now has patio doors instead of a window which gives you a lovely view. If you like the window open at night this is a problem unless you are brave enough to leave the door open and potentially share with the local wildlife! The Red Deer stags, Seals and various sea birds were regular visitors. We also spotted a White Tailed Eagle and an Otter all from the cottage. The dogs loved swimming in the nearby rivers.
