The room and house were very clean. At one point during the night I felt like I was sweating because of the heat, the hot water was very nice. I definitely want you to try the hot tube.
Highly recommended for a family get-together, celebration, or breakaway in a beautiful place with amazing accommodation & facilities, everything you need is on-site, and I hope to make it back again sometime soon.
We were at the Lime House for a seminar. It's a great place to stay, especially as you get to do a lot of outdoor activities. The area is great and ideal for walking. There were a few things missing in the kitchen, like a small pot or sharp knives. But all in all we had a good time at Lime House.
The yurts are fine but at 300 a night it’s not great value for money. The yurts are clean, pleasant but unspectacular. The zero touch approach to hospitality (literally no one engaged with us from the accommodation during our stay) is a little off putting. Great location and the kids loved building a fire but other than that…. Not bad, just expensively underwhelming.
Absolutely brilliant time in rock farm again (3rd time visiting!) With 4 kids ranging from 5 to 11 who love being outdoors this is the perfect spot for them. The yurt was clean and comfy and the kitchen facilities were great. They loved swimming in the natural pond this time (it was alot colder on our other visits!) and sitting arou dthe campfire roasting marshmallows. The youngest child forgot some toys when we left and the staff were quick to get I contact to let me know. I'd highly recommend rock farm
We stayed for two nights, since we landed from Dublin Airport very late in the evening on our way to Northern Ireland and on our way back at Upper Lime House. It was perfectly fine for us and we took a walk around the farm and glamping site which is very beautiful and all kept very good. The breakfast in town was great, too in a beautiful small Café which we booked through Rockfarm Slane for the next morning. Would definitely come again and try the glamping tents :).
Me and my friend had a great experience staying in the pine hut. It was so cozy , we spent our day in the natural swimming pool followed by the sauna and the jacuzzi which was so nice . Tadgh and cillian were so helpful and kind also . We will definitely be back.
What a beautiful setting! Self check in was simple and we had everything we needed for our stay. Contact details were displayed around the site should we have needed anything. The yurt itself was so cosy and comfortable. First time in a yurt (we’d normally camp) and it was lovely.
We really enjoyed our stay at Lime House. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The site was lovely and we enjoyed many walks along the river. We would love to come back and bring the grand children.
We stayed at the Swallow's Nest for one night on our return trip to Dublin. It was a fun little getaway, nestled into a peaceful setting. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed doing the river walk and seeing the pigs. It was easy to get into Slane to see the castle and get some dinner. It was perfect for our last night of vacation!
We stayed for a night in the Ash yurt and had a fantastic stay. Very close to toilets and well equipped kitchen with all facilities you could need. Lovely hot tub and fire pit for roasting marshmallows in the evening alongside other campers. Stove inside yurt was fantastic and added to the experience in the evening. Beds very comfortable and clean. Dog friendly which was a big bonus for us also..cant wait to go back.
We enjoyed our stay, cozy hut, comfortable bed, beautiful and quiet surroundings. Noticed some stains on the linens. Bathrooms could use better illumination at night, in the stalls it is pretty dark.
Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful. Only issue is the driveway. Quite a few potholes. Othrwise a great place for a wedding for family and friends.
My family and pet had a lovely night stay at Rock Farm Slane. The yurt was warm and cosy and beds very comfortable. Definitely the glamp without having to pitch a tent. Totally recommend it. Great kitchen and bathroom facilities. No hesitation to stay again.
We had a one night stay in the dexter Bell tent ,far exceeded our expectations, comfy clean and beautiful surroundings!!
We had a lovely stay in the Lime house as a family of 5. House was clean and spacious. We would definitely come back for another stay. Only issue we had was the shower seemed blocked as the tray kept filling up when in use but other than that everything else was perfect!
Lovely weekend! Absolutely amazing place to stay! Has everything that you would need for your comfortable stay
We came as a group of 24 and had an extremely enjoyable stay. It was the first day of business after covid for the rock farm and they had the place impeccable. It is a very scenic and beautiful setting, I will most definitely be coming back and I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you Rockfarm.
Thanks for tour farm! It was a Nice place! Please Check thé hit water in small shower ;) Great place with kids
We were late arrivals and everything was exactly as per emailed instructions. Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy the campfire experience this time but will be back again. V comfortable beds. Recommended.
The house was lovely, easy access to town and beautifully situated along the river. Rooms were clean and there was plenty of common space for us. Wonderful experience.
