Perfect place for my family of four. Airy spacious clean bedroom with own bathroom and wooden decking with covered verandah accessible from our room. We relaxed outside & in. Easy cooking facilities in communal kitchen. Very large, spacious dining area & comfy living room. Views of the countryside throughout from large windows.
Highly recommended for a family get-together, celebration, or breakaway in a beautiful place with amazing accommodation & facilities, everything you need is on-site, and I hope to make it back again sometime soon.
Twenty one of us aged 1 to 75 years and two dogs spent 2 nights in Limetree House. The house was spacious and contained everything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor space playing rounders & football and the walks. Some of our party enjoyed a dip in the natural swimming pool. The surroundings are picturesque. It was tranquil with plenty to do. I’d highly recommend.
Obsessed with this place and most definitely will be coming back. All the staff were so kind, the yurts were extremely comfy and all the facilities clean and working! Would really recommend if you feel like a calm weekend away.
Everything was perfect during our time at Rock Farm Slane. It's a very cozy and peacefull place to stay a few days near to the natur. Thank you for everything during our vacation in Irland!
We loved our stay in the Pine Sheppard's Hut at Rock Farm Slane. It had some of the best elements of camping (nature, lots of outdoors time, being able to chat with fellow campers) while feeling so comfortable and looking so cute! We so enjoyed going for strolls around the grounds, using the sauna and swimming hole and being able to relax at the picnic tables outside during meal times. It was great to meet fellow travelers and have a chat over a cup of tea. I rated cleanliness as a 4 because this is still a communal living space, so sometimes the counters and sinks weren't clean enough for me ...more
The yourt was very cosy with a view on a castle. This kind of glamping camp generally comes with some activities for the kids (family games, educative farm, outdoor games) but here there was nothing. It was a very busy week-end with a bank holiday. We met very nice people but the kitchen and tables are not meant for so much people (at least not when it rains) and it was a bit noisy. We chose to shorten our stay.
We booked the glampsite for our family gathering of around 30 people. Andie was so helpful in organising everything from choosing dates to arranging who slept where (so that we could cater to everyone’s needs in the group). Everyone we met there was very friendly and helpful & the grounds were just amazing! Can’t wait to come back again, we loved everything about the place!
We really enjoyed our stay at Lime House. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The site was lovely and we enjoyed many walks along the river. We would love to come back and bring the grand children.
1st time glamping with our kids. We had a wonderful time. We would and have been highly recommending it to other families. We plan to come again.
The Swallow’s Nest is a very comfortable and cosy straw-bale cabin on the grounds of a farm in Slane. The cabin is incredibly comfortable and has all the basic amenities, including a mini-fridge and coffee/tea station. The toilet and shower are in a little shack just adjacent to the cabin. The main thing to note is that you have to walk about 5min to get to the communal kitchen area, so wellies and head torch are recommended! Overall very cosy but not much to do or see in the surrounding area.
It was a lovely stay, in a beautiful place, surounded by magnificent views. We have absolutely no complains, bed was comfy, place was very cute, and allowed us to completly disconect from reality for a bit :)
Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very helpful. Only issue is the driveway. Quite a few potholes. Othrwise a great place for a wedding for family and friends.
Second time coming back to rockfarm this stay was brilliant kids loved it . Plenty of families to enjoy the night with at the campfire doing marshmallows. We hired the hot tub which was very hot but they all enjoyed it . Bit disappointing to find out you need to pay extra for gas for the BBq which I think should be included in your stay its expensive enough overall had a lovely time and got the weather to which made it all the better
Such I lovely place to stay we had a wonderful time. Until the bed collapsed twice during the night catching one of our party in it needing assistance to get out of it.
We had a one night stay in the dexter Bell tent ,far exceeded our expectations, comfy clean and beautiful surroundings!!
I can’t recommend Rock farm Glamping at Slane enough. Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location and a very relaxing atmosphere there. From family strolls to the swimming lake to pizza at the fire, we will be back again soon!
Recently spent two nights at Rockfarm Slane, our family renting the whole Bell Tent Village. This is our second camping trip in the bell tents ant this site and we had a lovely time. Really like the quiet, privacy and beautiful nature setting, but also the easy access to Slane Village. Will be back!
We had a lovely stay in the Lime house as a family of 5. House was clean and spacious. We would definitely come back for another stay. Only issue we had was the shower seemed blocked as the tray kept filling up when in use but other than that everything else was perfect!
Cosy, quiet bliss. Dog loved it. Would come back but Thursday - Sunday, when the riverside sauna is open.
Location was excellent, self-check in was perfect for me as I was using Rock Farm as an overnight stop, arriving late and leaving early. Saddleback was clean and comfy, and site was peaceful. Facilities (kitchen, showers and toilets) very good. Thanks for a lovely stay
The set up was perfect for our gathering. The jacuzzi, sauna and natural pool, a real plus. The Lime House was really well equipped and laid out with plenty of space for children and adults to have fun. Staff team were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.
