5 bedroom house situated beside the River Boyne and Ramparts Walk close to Slane Bridge and 5 minutes walk from the village of Slane. The bedroom has 3 en-suite bedrooms and 5 bathrooms in total with a large kitchen dining area and lounge as well as a private garden and off-street parking.

A group of 10 of us stayed for one night at the River House. From first contact with Rock Farm they were extremely helpful in assisting with the booking, answering any queries, and helping to sort a craft activity we wanted to incorporate into the day provided by a third party.

The check-in and out was easy and the house was warm, clean, and comfortable, and had the basics provided. There was lots of communal space and the bedrooms were spacious.

It is a short walk (but uphill!) to Slane village and we walked in and out both during the afternoon and evening.

We had a great time at the River House and would recommend it and be very happy to stay again.

We had a good time at the River House, we felt spacious and comfortable there, in the morning we listened to the birds singing and the sound of a rushing river, and in the evening we enjoyed the warmth and sound of crackling wood in the fireplace. Thank you

Great stay with a group of girls , unfortunately there was a group booking so we couldn’t book the pizza oven , hot tub or kayaking. There is plenty to do around slane itself so we found other activities to do . The house itself is comfortable, close to the town and has everything you would need available. If I was to be critical at all the house could do with a fresh coat of paint and the garden had dog dirt lying around but it’s coming to the end of the season so il put it down to that being the reason . I would definitely book again but make sure the activities were available first . Also the locals are extremely friendly and accommodating. We went to boyles pub and the bar man gave two of the girls a lift home . Great little bakery up in the village with homemade cakes and bread . Overall great stay .
