From the moment we arrived at the entrance gates and we could see the property in front of us, we were blown away by how gorgeous it looked. When we entered the very large hall, we were greeted with lovely perfumed aroma's. There were plug in air fresheners around the house and it smelt divine. What a welcome. The house was perfect in every room and the quality of the furnishings and how thick the carpets are throughout, made this house so special in every way. Apartment is spacious and very well equipped, but its most impressive feature is its view - fantastic. Deganwy is a good location for exploring North Wales and there are good restaurants and a wine bar within a short walk.
We stayed at Nant Uchaf for one week with our three children (ages 4, 6 and 9). The location was beautiful and so peaceful, ideal for exploring the local area. We had day trips to LLandudno, Anglesey, and Conwy. All within very close distance. The property itself was extremely clean, the welcome basket on arrival was a lovely treat, and we appreciated the basics that were also provided (tea, coffee, milk, bread). Eigionfa is an amazing cottage in a great location with beautiful views of the Menai Straits. A well designed and furnished cottage with a large living area that is perfect for socialising as a group. Plenty of options for eating out and drinks within walking distance of the cottage. Would definitely return to this cottage and recommend to others.
Had a lovely stay, this was our second time at this cottage and everything was perfect, as expected, and no doubt we will visit again if availability allows. The cottage has everything you need and is well maintained, feels homely and characterful. The garden is wonderful for birdwatching (much more than a generic modern holiday let with grey features that seem ubiquitous these days). We have been visiting this area of the Lynn for nearly thirty years so are very familiar with it, there is plenty to do some of the most stunning coastline, unspoilt beaches and wildlife. We arrived at the venue for our prepaid two day stay ,only to find that the place was not prepared at all and nobody was expecting us! We found alternative accommodation in a hotel not far away which was very fortunate. The gardener showed us the room which was much less than we expected and a far cry from what the advertisement depicted. A fold out couch as the bed etc. I feel this dwelling is sub standard at the priced
We love this apartment for it's location, views, parking on site and this is why we have stayed 6 times over the years. It is a nice sized apartment and has a dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge freezer. It is a great base for visiting Llandudno, Conwy, Angelsey etc Lots of stairs so unsuitable for the less mobile but no problem for us. Also the bath is very high from the ground so again, for the less mobile this would be a problem. Beautiful location, a bit run down in areas, but such a lovely place. Perfect for our family and dogs.
