Rose Cottage is a cute little house close to the walls of historic Conwy with its unique High Street and fine collection of artisan shops and eateries.

The courtyard was awful dirty and full of weeds even if clean it wasn’t a area you like to sit out in. The front bedroom and landing window needed blinds to block the street light. The back bedroom linen was not ironed didn’t bother me but might some. The television pixilated so not able to watch in evening. Although there was an internet box it wasn’t possible to access it, it’s almost issential now. No scourer or cleaning product in fact all the cleaning products were empty. No information pack visible so made a guess at recycling and which dustbin. The dining room table needed tightening it wobbled, the sofa was very worn didn’t bother me but my some it was a dog friendly accommodation. The shower over the bath was ok for me but some may struggle. The parking slot was quite small my car just fitted . The accommodation was clean and fairly comfortable it suited me as I was only there to sleep shower and breakfast.

We found Rose cottage to be comfortable and provided us with the basics that we needed for our stay. The layout was good and the sofa and beds were comfy which allowed you to enjoy a relaxed evening and a decent nights sleep. We were pleased to find the cottage now has wifi installed which although not essential is always an added bonus. There is a small secure yard to the rear, with outdoor furniture, which unfortunately due to the weather we didn’t get to use. Just a few doors down there is a corner shop and around the corner is a fish and chip shop. Furthermore behind the property there is a park and if you follow the path you can walk in to Conwy which is only a short walk away. The cottage is in an ideal position to explore North Wales, and certainly one of the best benefits was having Conwy on your doorstep. As I took my dogs with me, I generally found that most places were very dog friendly and we’re happy to welcome dogs inside their establishments. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in North Wales, and will certainly be returning.

This cottage is in a great location, walking distance to the centre of Conwy. The only negative is the cottage is on a busy road but has a general store close by and an excellent fish and chip shop. Overall the accommodation was up to date and clean and is dog friendly. The cottage has a small enclosed paved garden which would not be suitable for larger dogs. The open plan lounge has a deep step into the hallway. We were surprised there was no Wifi, which we did not think to check when booking, as its a must have these days. We would recommend the cottage for those who have a dog and its location.

Upon arrival the first thing that struck me was how clean and tidy the cottage was. The cottage itself is located on a main road but had a fantastic bonus of an off street parking space!
We really appreciated the cookies and scones on arrival and a pint of milk waiting in the fridge so we could make that much needed cuppa after a long drive.
The small courtyard garden was superbly sunny if you fancied a glass of something in the late afternoon sun.
A great location, only a short stroll into Conwy itself and a lovely park behind the house meant if you are bringing a furry friend there was a good place to let them have a run around. Morfa conwy beach was only a short 10 min drive away or you can enjoy the Quay in Conwy.
Easy access to Snowdonia national park, with walking trails, waterfalls and lakes less than a half hour drive away.
We will most definitely be returning to explore the area as there is so much to see and do.
Only downside is the lack of Wi-Fi.

Lovely little cottage for a short stay in Conwy. Clean and comfy with a good equipped kitchen. A park near by for the children to play in and just a short walk into the town of Conwy itself. Would definitely stay again.

The location of the cottage was perfect .It was a short stroll through a park to get to the centre of Conwy which was a buzzing little town with lots to see and do. i would say it was a little small for four people but just right for 2/3. It was immaculate on arrival with a treat of a bottle of wine and welsh cakes a nice touch. A good base to explore the north wales coast , Anglesey and Snowdonia. A must is to walk the walls of the town giving you stunning views .Everything you needed was in the cottage,. Not much of an outside area TV reception very poor and no internet. Also a blind needed in the bathroom. I would not hesitate to recommend the cottage and if in the area would book the cottage again.
