Peace, luxury, an outstanding view - we hoped for all three and in all three our hopes have been surpassed. Our luxury Scottish lodge sits high up above the pretty fishing village of Lochinver which edges the loch below a backdrop of tree-clad hills and beyond, the Assynt mountain range characterised by stunningly shaped Suilven and Canisp.

Latest Review - March 2024

This was our 6th visit to Waterloo Lodge and it never fails us. The house was of its usual standard of cleanliness, and the finer details were as consistent as ever. On this occasion we took friends with us for the first two days. They too were blown away by the location, the facilities and the luxurious vibe of the house. I think they too will soon book. This place offers us everything we need, lots of accessible walks with the dog, including beautiful beaches. Access to great eating places - our favourite is Kyleschu.
