Six individually furnished cottages located on a riverside farm. Salmon, sea trout and brown trout fishing on our own stretch of the Tweed. All weather tennis court. Excellent walking and abundant wildlife (otters, badgers, deer and fantastic variety of birds) all on the farm. Five minutes drive from historic Berwick-upon-Tweed and excellent beaches. Holy Island of Lindisfarne, Alnwick, Cheviot Hills and Scottish Borders towns all within 45 mins drive.
West Ord is a rural location, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. However, the market town of Berwick is only ten minutes away. There is even a bus service from the end of the road.
Beyond the immediate area are the Borders, the beaches and Edinburgh to the north. Edinburgh is best visited by train. We found the journey to be quick, direct into the city and managed to get some excellent prices with the help of the booking office in Berwick.
The house was very cosy and had everything that we needed.
Most important, we felt welcome and enjoyed meeting our hosts.

Absolutely excellent location both to stay at and also explore the surrounding areas. We have stayed here a number of times and every holiday has gone far too quickly. The fact that their are no neighbours and you are much closer to nature make this a perfect spot for relaxing. Carol Lang, Sandy and Jim are the easiest people to deal with and they do all they can to make you stay as comfortable as possible. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at south Bells to anyone, you will not be disappointed and if you do go please say hello to the otters for us.
We have been staying in holiday cottages for many years but not one has matched Eden. The warm greeting from Carol was a tonic after a nine hour car journey, quite simply the most welcome we have ever felt on arrival.
The cottage was very well furnished and spotlessly clean. For the first time in 20 years of self-catering holidays, my standards were matched.(Believe me, that is no mean feat; I'm a fanatic!)
Kitchen facilities were excellent too. Another first, my husband didn't need to use any of his favourite cooking utensils/equipment, brought from home.

Spent a fantastic week in Till Cottage. Location is great for exploring Northumberland and Scotland. The cottage itself has everything you need - clean, comfy and very spacious for a family of four plus dog. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again.
Stayed for a few days in August and had a lovely time. You couldn't wish for a more beautiful setting!
The property was perfect for two people but maybe a little cramped for us as a family with two large teenage boys.
Myself and my husband would definitely return as a couple.
The hosts were so helpful and accommodating and overall we had a great time.
