This is our 4th visit with frineds and we never cease to be amazed by the cottage, its facilities and the tranquility of the surrounding countryside. The hot tub is the icing on the cake together with the friendlimess and helpfulness of all the staff. Little touches like the home made cake and goodies on arrival and the Mother's Day box of chocoloates mean so much. Try the lasagna it is to die for and the salad is fantastic too!! We have already our next 2 visits!!
We stayed for 3 nights in Glenside and found the cottage to be warm on arrival - it was February. The rooms were spacious and tastely furnished/decorated. There were ample utensils and crockery and everything was very clean and to a high standard. We appreciated the food and drink items left for us including homemade cake. Our dog Leo was spoilt with his basket including blanket, towel, toy, doggy walk maps, and treats. Also the dog bed supplied was so helpful and saved us bringing one away with us. We loved the hot tub, garden and access to the field at the back of the cottage. Would highly r...more
We recently hired out two of the apartments for a large family holiday (14 of us) . 8 of us in Hedgehunter 6 in Sundew. Both lovely apartments finished to a high standard. En-suites were just right to save the rush for the bathroom in the morning. A very well equiped kitchen - also provided all your essentials, tea, coffee, sugar, tea towels, washing up liquid, salt, pepper and a lovely welcome gift of bread, cake, wine etc. Views from the hot tub are amazing and well sheltered from your neigbours by the bushes in between.
