This is a difficult one to review. We purposely booked this one because twin beds were an option. We are both disabled and dont sleep well so choosing twins is important. But dispite emailing and requesting the zip and link to be made up as twins and had a reply confirming. We were amazed to arrive and find it a double. As nothing could be done about that we did receive a small refund. We also had reason to phone Sharon from the office as there were a couple of breakages we didn't want to beheld responsible for. And being disabled couldn't lift the base of the umbrella stand off the table on the balcony. Bless her she came out after work to sort those issues out so she gets 10 out of 10. For us we wouldn't choose this particular property again. It is a beautiful place and so quiet which we very much needed. But as I prefer to cook from scratch the kitchen isn't well equipped. The microwave is up high above my head making g it dangerous. And having to get on ones hands and knees to rummage in the fridge and freezer is not for me. And the cooker burns the food before it cooks it. I would however eventually got to grips with that. If you are fit for your age fantastic and you dont want to cook. If you dont want or its inappropriate to share a bed then bad. It is also still being advertised as zip and link. Definitely not good

Would you return?
No

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We really appreciate your feedback. Firstly, we're very sorry that the bed configuration was not as requested. We completely understand how important twin beds were for your stay, particularly given your circumstances, and we apologise that the property was not set up correctly despite your request being confirmed. We're pleased we were able to offer a partial refund, although we recognise this did not make up for the inconvenience. Thank you also for your kind words about Sharon. We're delighted her willingness to come out after work and help resolve the issues made a positive difference, and we'll be sure to pass on your lovely comments to her. We're grateful for your feedback regarding the kitchen layout and equipment. We appreciate that the current arrangement isn't suitable for everyone, particularly guests with limited mobility. The good news is that the zip-and-link beds are now in place, and we will also be looking at rearranging the kitchen cupboard layout to make the space more practical and accessible. Thank you again for highlighting both the positives and the areas where we can improve. Your comments help us make the property better for future guests, and we wish you both all the best.
