Folly View is a first floor apartment that sleeps 4 guests in two bedrooms. Located in Island Harbour Marina on the banks of the river Medina, in the hamlet of Binfield, halfway between the County Town of Newport and Cowes.There is also a new on-site restaurant, The Cockle, offering a relaxed place to enjoy a meal during your stay, whether for lunch, dinner, or a casual bite.

The apartment itself was good, the site dismal!! The view shown is from the bedrooms. The frontage/entrance is of an abandoned, overgrown and litter strewn building site! The restaurant still being advertised is long since closed. Very disappointed and feel the advertising is dishonest.

Sorry to hear of your experience Certainly did not mean to be dishonest. The view to the rear of the car park is of some unfinished apartments but no building work is going on and the majority of the outlook is to the marina and Medina river. The situation with the Breeze is unfortunate and we were led to believe that it would re-open this summer. We have reduced prices accordingly however there are some good alternatives with the great Folly Inn within walking distance and Newport down the river path albeit a little further

The accommodation was lovely. Everything we needed was there.
Lovely setting and nice and peaceful. Only about 10min walk down lane from bus stop. It was a shame The Breeze was not open. Went to The Folly which is a very good restaurant and only took about 20mins to walk back along the river. Someone from The Folly told us. Maybe information walking along river to get to places would be handy to have in the apartment and maybe recommendations on restaurants etc. Tamarind in Newport is a must for curry lovers.
A lovely time was had by all. Thank you
