Well equipped and laid out, Forge cottage was perfect for our stay during the recent heat wave. The stone walls kept the downstairs of the cottage lovely and cool and the garden trees provided shade to sit and relax after a trip out. The scones prepared by Rob’s daughter were the best I’ve ever eaten. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would definitely return.
Rooke Cottages are superb holiday lets in an amazing location. Beautiful countryside but close to loads of interesting places if you do want to explore. Hosts are excellent and on site.
This little home is truly perfect. There is everything required to make a holiday complete. Great location, exceptionally well equipped, spotlessly clean, delightful welcome pack and so comfortable.
Weather was not great this was nit a problem accommodation absolutely great...plenty to do provided. When weather eased up excellent position to get to places easily...
We have returned to walnut Cottage a number of times and never been disappointed. A lovely farm setting.
Our stay in Meadow was a first for us but we have been coming to Rooke Farm with our 2 dogs since 2014 and this was our 13th visit........we have also stayed in 2 other cottages during that time. This in itself should tell you everything! We love it here and now come 2/3 times per year. It truly feels like one's second home and Rob and Gill are the most hospitable hosts!
