Another great holiday at Rooke cottages, so comfortable you never want to leave. If you want luxury and complete relaxation this is the place. If you want fantastic local food a visit to the St Kew farm shop and cafe is a must and the Maltsters Arms pub in the village does great food too. Great hosts Rob and Gill and family all work really hard behind the scenes to make each cottage and holiday just perfect . Thank you for another week of fantastic memories and already looking forward to another visit .
We have returned after 30 years to a changed set of cottages which offer a feeling of being at home. Rob and Gill were very helpful. We were very lucky with fantastic weather, eating outside for every meal, making friends with Darcy the dog and so close to beaches and restaurants.
We have stayed here for several years. The accommodation is spacious and well appointed. A large garden adds to its attractons. The location is peaceful but with easy access to the beaches at Pollzeath.
Rob and Gill were very helpful and we had a wonderful week with amazing weather. The properties proximity to beaches and other destinations makes this an ideal place to take the grandchildren. There was plenty of space and it was a very safe place to allow them to play freely. It is well equipped for a relaxing place to stay. Our favourite part was sitting on the decking watching the birds skimming across the field as the sun went down and spotting a Barn Owl.
Our family of 4 + dog stayed in Walnut Cottage this summer and loved our stay. The cottage itself was a good size for us, well furnished/stocked and had a nice garden. Situated in amongst the fields, on a farm, it’s a very relaxing spot with plenty of space. There was even a kids playground which our kids enjoyed playing in whilst looking out on the sheep. We also enjoyed watching the owls in the barn on camera. It’s a very convenient location for exploring lots of beaches - Rock, Polzeath etc and close to Wadebridge if you need to shop. We will definitely be going back!
We had a wonderful holiday. The area is very beautiful. The cottage was fantastic and the enclosed garden was great for our dog, too. From the cottage, you can easily reach many beautiful beaches. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
