We last rented from Rob and Gill in 2003! Again, we felt very welcome, as Rob had just lit the open fire just before we arrived. Such a welcome sight, as was the lovely dressed Christmas tree. A wonderful surprise was the luxury hamper that was also waiting for us. A very well stocked kitchen and comfort throughout. Thank you, Rob and Gill. We love this cottage . Have stayed several times . Lovely comfy beds and linen everything is there that we would need . It is an excellent location, rural and peaceful but near enough to beaches and amenities. Great for our family . We have stayed in smaller cottages on the farm when there are just two of us and our dog but with the family Courtyard is great for us . Owners lovely too .
This was our third stay in Jasmine cottage at Rooke Farm. Much anticipation on the drive down, a warm, cosy and very well equipped cottage to greet us and a whole week of comfort, walks in the fresh air and good Cornish fare ahead. While Rock, Daymer Bay and the North coast are close by, Rooke is also convenient for adventures further afield, Lanhydrock at Bodmin, Readymoney Cove at Fowey and Trelissick at Truro being favourites (for Ted the dog especially). This was our 4th stay at Honeysuckle cottage and as previously we were not disapointed. We have a dog and the garden is ideal - both for her and for us to sit in. The location is peeaceful but still not too far from Rock or A39 giving good access to North Cornwall. Rob and Gill are welcoming and friendly and on hand if required. An ideal spot for a peaceful and relaxing break. We will be back!
A return visit to Walnut Cottage for us which we love from the welcoming airy space to the delicious scones.
Lovely clean cottage with great garden for family and our dog. We had lovely weather so enjoyed several barbecues in the garden . Everything is there that we would need . Children loved the play park . It’s a great place to stay and we will return again soon . Many happy family memories enjoyed at Rooke Cottages .
