What a beautiful cabin in a lovely peaceful location. The cabin was only a 10min drive from the beach which was lovely to end our days at after we’d been out walking the lakes. The cabin is very well equipped and super cosy in the evenings! Amazing place and couldn’t recommend more highly.
We had an amazing time. Owners were lovely. Like the little touches in the caravan like fresh milk and eco friendly bleach and washing up liquid. Was lovely seeing the donkeys each day and feeding them. Best nights sleep in a long time. Would defiantly recommend and will come back soon
Lovely friendly staff, stunning location. The caravans are so spacious, cosy and warm... Don't forget carrots for the Donkeys!
Really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The location is amazing: Secluded, but with great views all around. Sitting by our hired fire pit after dusk we experienced deer silhouetted amongst trees on the hillside, ducks flying overhead and a select committee (more than a couple, less than a parliament?!) of owls having a good natter. The friendly site managers welcomed us on arrival and checked by to see that everything was well with us the following day as well. The facilities are very clean and pleasant to use. We enjoyed our time immensely! Thank so much for your highly personified hospitality. We were not disappointed and now look forward to returning in the near future. The cottage is an ideal base for getting out and about and when it’s cold, wet and windy, you cottage is the perfect place to relax in front of a warm and cheering fire while reading or watching DVDs.
After two nights of camping this place was perfect! Hosts were always making sure we had everything we needed!

Just been camping over the Easter weeekend and had a fantastic weekend the view from our tent was spectacular The early morning chorus from the local donkeys was even better Would definitely stay here again The wardens couldn’t have been any more helpful that they were. Weather was better than expected for this time of year, even managed to get the tent packed away dry
It was an awesome cabin with everything you need for a relaxing time in the Lake District. Would recommend!
This is normally a lovely place to visit, but unfortunately for us the weather was very wet and only one day without rain. The accomodation was lovely and clean as was the whole site, with nice information pact as well. This was or second visit as there are lovely walks to be had just of site. Met by the Warden on arrival and told anything we need just let him know, but everything was fine and no problems.Overall a nice break marred by the weather but that's not in the sites hands and we had warm accomodation to dry off in after being out.Would highly recommended this site
Personally greeted when I arrived onsite Facilities were spotless It was peaceful and quiet throughout the evening Wifi was available at pitch side Pitch was very muddy due to poor weather, no fault of the owners and I was advised to park on gravel which meant I didn't get stuck which I did. Would definitely look to return in the summer when dry Overall good site, enjoyed my staty and would return

Our family stayed at the cottage for four nights in early April.The weather was not kind but this didn't stop us making the best of it.The cottage is spacious,comfortable,has everything you need for everyday.I cannot express how stunning the location is not to be missed.We were so impressed we have booked again for July, hope the weathers kind.
