We have stayed at The Bay many times but this accommodation is outstanding. Everything you could possibly require is provided…..even super duper hair straighteners….where would the girls be without!!!? Location, too, is perfect -near beach path, playground, shop and pub.
We will be coming again definitely……Filey Bay Direct offer accommodation for groups of all sizes - would not hesitate to recommend them.

We had a great family stay at Blue Moon.

The house is fully equipped with literally everything you can imagine to make your stay comfortable.

It has a great location near all the facilities and is a 10 min walk to the beach.

We used the pool daily, it was clean and not too cold.

The only negatives were the pub was a little expensive and most of the arcades were broken.

Perfect location perfect service,beautiful accommodation home from home just amazing honestly was blown away the little touches were heart felt just perfect thankyou so very very much such a beautiful place and brilliant customer service .

We love Blue Moon, this is our 3rd stay now and having stayed in many of the houses available at The Bay over many years, Blue Moon is by far our favourite. There is usually only myself, husband and our two little dogs who stay so we don't use the second bedroom but the size of the house is just perfect for 2 and of course would work suitably well for 4 as well, especially with two bath/ensuite rooms. Colourful, bright, well kept and great location on the bay as well. Will once again be re booking to return later in the year.

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Moon.
It was everything that it claimed to be in the booking description plus more.
The Christmas decs made us feel welcome. Also want to say thank you for the lovely welcome gifts.
It was just right for the Christmas break.

This is our 2nd stay in Blue Moon. It is a delightful home in a great position. Great attention to detail, vey spacious inside & out. Plenty of glasses,cutlery & crockery, saves washing up every 5 mins as happens in some other properties that we haved stayed in over many years at The Bay. We will definitely book Blue Moon again.

Lovely retreat, a few minutes stroll from the dog friendly beach. Lots of like-minded dog lovers around, and the vast majority do poop-scoop. Lodge was well equipped, very warm and inviting, tasteful modern decor. Been to the Bay a couple of times before, this was the best accommodation. Pizza place rarely open, pub sparsely populated because poor value for money. We sat out the front of the lodge which is South facing and enjoyed a glass of wine there instead. It was really lovely.

Thanks for taking time to review your stay, and it means a lot to know Blue Moon is the best you've stayed in at The Bay. I think the pizzeria only opens Fri and Sat nights in low season. Glad you enjoyed the outside space on offer at Blue Moon too. With decks at the front and rear its perfect for morning or evening sun.

This is by far the best UK holiday rental we've stayed in. This was our 2nd visit to The Bay and we love the site - clean, quiet, close to the beach, good pizza, things for the kids to do. Blue Moon is a wonderful property in a great location for everything on site. We loved sitting out on the front deck (when it was dry) and the BBQ is a big bonus (we used it quite a few nights). The house was clean, well equipped, beautifully decorated and really comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate in booking this or another property from Filey Bay Direct again.

A beautiful, comfortable home from home.
Everything you need for a fab break.
Lovely and clean property, close to amenities and to the beach path.
Lovely little touches within property.
We have stayed at The Bay three times and although the other properties were great, Blue Moon is our definite favourite ❤️

Overall a great weekend, the sun was shining and we left relaxed !
To be honest it is could have done with a slightly better clean !
The glass top of the coffee table had not been cleaned, cup rings stains still on
Toy trains left under coffee table
Some cushions on sofa were marked and dirty
The sofa could of done with a hoover as dog hairs still on and lots of bits under the seat cushions
The main bathroom under the cold water tap handle had not been cleaned, still toothpaste on and behind the taps was what looked like half of a shell !
No bin liner in the bin

We had a week at Blue Moon for the May half term with two children and the property was ideal. Location was spot on. Right next to the amenities and park which the children played on a lot and made friends and only a short walk to the beach. The property is spacious, was spotlessly clean and had absolutely everything we needed. Parking was located right in front of the property making unloading and loading easy. We would highly recommend the Blue Moon and book again. Booking and communication was spot on so thank you Paula. I would also highly recommend a little you time massage and facial in the Beauty Room. It was fabulous and I came away floating!
The only ting niggle was the mattress in the master bedroom. It was very soft and maybe it’s time for a new one.

This beach chalet has it all, from the minute you arrive

It looks like it has had professional interior design styling, the links and references to Blue Moon brilliant, it is so comfortable, the blankets, all of the extra's the games, the beach accessories, the toys and the toiletries and kitchen essentials honestly this place goes above and beyond.

Amazingly located for a walk to the beach, and the little one seeing the park out of her bedroom doors what a result.

We will be back!
