Wolf Lodge is nestled amongst tall pines in a quiet lane in the village of Carrbridge. This lodge has a hot tub, sauna, log burner and BBQ.

Landmark Adventure Park is just along the road for some fun and adventures. Dogs are also welcome here at Wolf Lodge.

We loved our week here. Very tranquil surroundings. Garden lovely for sitting out in and hot tub was a luxurious touch which we used at least once a day. Fantastic location for Landmark and other local attractions. Would definitely stay again. Great to have a washing machine as well as dishwasher. Our 6 year old really enjoyed the lodge and the stair going up to the bedroom.

We loved the location In amongst the trees, had to put the sauna on to heat the bathroom and kitchen up, kitchen fridge was very smelly due to being turn off and shut and caused the kitchen to smell for the first 3 days, instructions for appliances are very basic or not explained the best, would come back in the summer in the better weather, hot tub and sauna was great and al beds were comfy and the kids loved it, 6/10

We spent a lovely week in Wolf Lodge which is well positioned to go exploring in the mountains. The lodge was small but had everything we needed for two adults to have a comfortable stay and everything was in working order. Unfortunately, all along the driveway were full dog poo bags left by the neighbour, which is not a great first impression. But the lodge itself was clean and tidy and we took full advantage of the hot tub.

Stayed here as a family of four with a dog, quirky & cosy and well placed for days out. Well equipped (although we couldn’t work the oven). Would definitely stay again

The wolf lodge is a lovely idea but it’s a little tired. Several light bulbs were not working and the door to the downstairs bedroom did not close properly. Lots of the dishes needed cleaned before first use. The mattresses were too firm and the pillows were too thick (this is obviously a personal preference). The sauna timer kept getting stuck in the on position. Lastly there was a very large amount of dog poo on the bank opposite the car parking area which is obviously not the fault of the Wolf lodge or GNL but it is quite unpleasant and we had to make sure my son didn’t go near the bank. We had a lovely stay but we were a little bit underwhelmed given our expectations of GNL and we wouldn’t return to this property but would definitely book with GNL again!

Would recommend that you leave an idiots guide for the induction hob, couldn’t find instructions in manual file or online; we managed to get the oven to work though. Everything was great and a good base for walking and cycling plus day tripping

Pros:
Good location
Has everything you need - hot tub/sauna/log burner/dishwasher/washing machine etc

Cons:
On the small side which meant feeling cramped
The mattresses are not comfy which meant a couple of sleepless nights

I would still recommend property due to the pros

Housekeeping check matresses regularly and we will replace them now. We do market it clearly as a compact lodge on our website.

A lovely and relaxing stay in a quaint wee lodge. The property had lots of character enhanced even more by the beautiful scenery that surrounded it.
Perfect for an escape from everything!

What a wonderful stay at Wolf Lodge. We were looking for a relaxing getaway and boy did it deliver.
Great size enclosed garden with hot tub for the perfect end to a busy day walking the beautiful scenery of Carrbridge, Aviemore and beyond.
The lodge itself is (dare I say it) a little tired looking in places, but that did not differ in any way from just how truly lovely it was and we would 100% book again.
What a hidden gem!

Good location for exploring cairngorms
Key box entry
Good communication
Added comforts

Could have been cleaner
Outside lights not working for when using hotub at night
Cobwebs and stoor around lodge
Mattress and pillows yellow and stained when bedding stripped
500 deposit required a few days before and after attending

A lodge with lots of character, in a great location but in need of a few upgrades for the price.

Wolf Lodge is ideally situated for exploring the Cairngorm National Park, within easy travelling distance of Aviemore. The lodge benefits from a log burner, hot tub and sauna. We have stayed at the lodge on two previous occasions and although there have been changes over the years, it is looking a little tired.
Generally the lodge is clean but it could do with a much deeper clean. Quite a few cobwebs about and a lot of dog hair.
The plastic glasses for the hot tub had seen better days and general cooking equipment is limited. The TV is quite small for the size of the room but it does have Sky. One key improvement would be somewhere to put hiking boots, wet coats etc.
On previous occasions we had been as a couple or with two children, it was a bit cosy for 4 adults.
The lodge is quite expensive compared to similar ones we have stayed in. The biggest shock on booking is the £500 breakage bond that is to pay up front and this can then take up to 14 days to be paid back after your stay.
None of this spoiled our holiday in this lovely part of Scotland.
