This recently refurbished detached timber cottage with an enclosed garden is situated in a secluded location behind Suidhe Lodge and is accessed from the car park by a short path. This cottage has a well-equipped kitchen/dining area that leads through to a sitting area with a wood burning stove.

There are three bedrooms consisting of two king size double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room and the other with a bunk room off.

A private area lies to the front complete with a hot tub, BBQ and seating area, with additional garden surrounding.

Note: Suidhe Garden Cottage is in the same grounds as Suidhe Lodge, together they sleep 24. They have to be booked separately.

Stayed here with a friend for the weekend. Great location, close to Aviemore with buses available regularly. The facilities were excellent with a hot tub and a log burner with good instructions on how to use. The area is perfect for walks and Aviemore has some lovely pubs and cafes.

We enjoyed our stay however having only 1 bathroom with 4 adults was a little challenging at times. The cottage is lovely with lots of windows and it gives you the feeling of living in the forest. We found the garden a little challenging for dogs because although the owners had definitely tried to enclose the garden, our dog (a cockapoo)managed to get into a neighbouring garden twice. We had a wonderful week though and the Highland Wildlife Centre was a real high.

The cottage had everything we needed for our week. The garden had the sun most of the day so was nice to sit out in relative seclusion. The hot tub was great. The kitchen had everything we needed for all our meals and the wood burning stove made it very cosy in the evening. The WiFi was very good. The location was great for walks off road to Loch Insh especially for our springer spaniel. There are also great places to launch your paddle board. The village cafe is great for lunch

Had the best time here, such a lovely home.
Huge garden if you have dogs and children can let them run about.
Very nice and clean inside and all over the best time away

The living room was a warm and comfortable space - great for relaxing in at the end of the day.
The single bathroom was a bit of a struggle (3 daughters) but we managed.
The kitchen / dining area is where we spent most of our time and it was spacious but a bit disjointed in kitchen cupboard and utilities layout.
The hot tub was brilliant.
The external space was fully enclosed so great for the dog to freely wander round.
Paths away from the cottage lead straight to Kincraig and beyond with lovely walks a plenty from your doorstep.

Lovely two weeks - excellent location

The absolute pro’s were the cleanliness, location and the new owners were so lovely and welcoming.
The beds were super comfy too.
We stayed as a family of four (with two teenage boys). Loads to do in the area for them! Our top activities; Loch Insh water day and the zip trek at G2 which are so close. Our boys spent an hour most nights using the football pitch across the road.
Also recommend the Escape Room in Aviemore for a really very wet afternoon.
Highland Folk museum *free to visit* (they ask for a donation) of which part of the site was used as a film location for Outlander.
With there being so many activities, and having teenagers, a washing machine would have been really useful as ended up doing a bit of hand washing… but not a deal breaker.
You walk around the back of the lodge (next door) to get access to the property (which might feel a little odd to those not from Scotland, with the ‘right to roam’ laws) but it’s not an issue as next door have another separate access path (not to the cottage) which people use.
Kincraig is pretty to walk around (walked to the end of Dunachton Road, through path down to the loch and round to the Old Post Office cafe (for tasty cake!)). Cycled to Loch an Eilean, which was gorgeous and worth the effort.
The hot tub is a major plus too and great to come back and relax in.
Everyone we spoke to in our two week stay were so welcoming and we loved visiting the area.
