As above, good location, good beds, lots of space. Choice of walks and pubs very local. Visit Yorkshire Sculpture park only 25 mins away so get some culture, exercise and fun in comfortable house
A beautiful house in a lovely location. Very comfortable and homely with a gorgeous hot tub. All bedrooms and bathrooms clean and very luxurious and comfortable. If you like it warm, then this is the place for you. The 4 stars rather than 5 are given because it was a little too warm for sleeping (who ever complains about this ) and Shower gel in the bathrooms would also have been a bonus. We have had a wonderful stay and we highly recommend a stay here.
So many of our guests at our Spicer Manor wedding said it was the best they had ever been to. We loved every second of our two night stay at this unique and beautiful venue. The coach house party room is beautiful and it was the perfect size for us. The main house has the most gorgeously decorated rooms for your wedding guests to stay with you and make your wedding last more than just a single day. Love it love it love it. Can't recommend this place strongly enough.
We had a fantastic weekend at Unsliven Bridge Farm with family members aged 11-77, plus two dogs. The property was pristine and comfortable, with ample space inside and out for us to be together and apart comfortably. The property had everything we needed for our enjoyment and for catering for 15. There was plenty of activities to do in the locality, and the property was easy to find and accessible. Our group stayed here in September 2024 and had a wonderful week. We were met on arrival by Nick and shown the key features of the cottage. The property is spacious, well equipped and finished to a high standard. Rooms are all lovely and the hot tub was nice and warm. Location is great, there is plenty of parking available onsite and you are just one mile from the local town Penistone (and it’s Tesco!) but far enough away to feel secluded. Also you are just on the edge of the Peak District so can enjoy all that it has to offer. Overall this cottage comes highly recommended.
