A great house for 12 of us to spend New Year together. We had a few little hiccups with the fridge freezer and the Wi-Fi going off at midnight but the owners were on hand and readily available to help. There is plenty of living space to spread out and the location is near to the Peak District for our walks. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is in the vicinity too. We cooked at the house every evening and on the last night went to a pub recommended by the owners which was fab.

By far the most beautiful cottage we’ve ever seen. Everything about this property was luxury. We stayed here for a long weekend and loved every minute. We didn’t want to leave! The cottage is beautifully decorated with six ensuite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lounge that would comfortably seat 15 people. It has a separate utility room and games room. It has been equipped with everything you would need and done so with the highest specifications. It is child friendly and dog friendly. So many pro’s, to mention a few, parking for at least 5 cars, comfortable beds, hairdryer in every room, built in music system in the lounge and entertainment room, hot tub, outdoor seating. It was picturesque and so peaceful. I would absolutely stay here again.

Friendly meet and greet by the owners .Lovely warm , spacious house with excellent facilities . Great cooking facilities for Christmas dinner - 3 ovens and 2 dishwashers . Good location with the friendly Huntsman Pub within walking distance . I would highly recommend Leapings Cottage .
