One of the nicest properties we’ve stayed in. Super comfortable, very warm (we had a fair amount of snow over the weekend) and the log burner made it so homely. Peaceful surroundings with lots of birdsong and very dark skies at night so the stars were stunning Response to emails was almost instant which was so reassuring. We had a relaxing stay and love the area and the cottage.
Wonderfully peaceful setting but close to Dunkeld. Nice walks from the doorstep with a good guide left by estate. Will be back to recharge again!
This is the third time we have stayed at this lovely property and we will return again next year. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well appointed. Everything you need in the kitchen. The hot tub and amazing views finish a hard day walking wonderfully. Customer service is outstanding. Thank you again and see you next year.
Gorgeous lodge on the edge of the Cairngorms. The lodge was very clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Huge bathroom with a large bath and separate shower as well as two sinks. The kitchen was well equipped with a good sized fridge freezer. Comfortable lounge with a great log burner. Decent WiFi allowed us to use the internet and to streaming services without any problems.
Beautiful, comfortable and practical accommodation. We were there over new year and it was snowing but the hut was very warm. Spotlessly clean, bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The two huts are cleverly positioned with fences, so no privacy issues. Really enjoyed the design too, they look great. Worth noting there is no wifi or tv, so bring books or boardgames for the evenings. Also some of the roads to the huts are bumpy and rocky, so be careful with smaller cars. Had a great time and would highly recommend.
A lovely cottage in a beautiful, peaceful spot, off the beaten track, yet not remote. It was exceptionally clean, and well equipped. The bed is just amazingly comfortable, and so big. Masses of hot water and plenty of logs for the burner. The bath and stairs are 'interesting' though! Care is needed on those stairs, and the quirky old fashioned plug in the bath slowly leaks the water away, but it was very nice to have the lovely quality toiletries. We would stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was great, and everything we needed was provided. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it.
Lovely place to stay. Fabulous views, great walks and easy access to Dunkeld. Downside no microwave, some lightbulbs not working, and no dog poo bins Only minor points but need rectifying given the premium price!
This is the third time we have stayed at Glen Glack and won’t be our last. It’s so relaxing and set in breathtaking surroundings. Really recommend and we will be back.
We enjoyed our stay so much I’m looking to book again in the autumn The annex is well located with easy access to the A9 great walks both long and shorter straight from the door Staff responded well to our request Overall a clean well presented roomy cottage
Steph kindly squeezed my son and I in at very short notice, and we stayed in the truly beautiful farmhouse enjoying the local woods and wildlife for a few days. We’ll definitely be back soon! The perfect getaway.
Such a wonderful place to stay, very comfortable and well equipped and a great place to stay - a geologists' dream, right next to famous rocks visited by James Hutton in 1785 - and he stayed in Forest Lodge too, although I believe the furniture and fittings have been updated since then :)
Our family had a perfect stay at Willow cabin. The interior design is stylish but also practical and well thought-out. We especially enjoyed the fireplace. The setting is peaceful and beautiful- lots of birdsong and even a beaver around the loch. And less than 5 minutes down to Dunkeld with great restaurants, cafes, and shops.
We had the most wonderful time staying at this beautiful cottage. My husband , dog Nellie and I booked East, while my daughter and son in law booked West , the cottage next door. Both cottages ( we were in and out of each other’s) are thoughtfully decorated and have a warm and cosy feel to them. The kitchen is well equipped and spotless, as are the bathrooms. The bed was very comfortable too. The location is both spectacular and peaceful, with views across the valley . It snowed while we were there making our stay even more special. There are walks around the cottages and it was a treat t...more
A fun and cosy place to stay with wonderful views of the countryside. Enough space to store luggage too!
This is our 15th year of the two families coming to Old Blair. It is a great venue for cousins, and new granddaughter this year, to meet up for lots of games around the fire and leisurely family meals around the long dining room table. Old Blair is a very relaxed and restful house for the families and dogs.
We had a marvellous stay at Juniper. We enjoyed sitting on the verandah listening to the birds each morning, even seeing a pine marten briefly one early morning. The outdoor bath was so relaxing and the cabin was really well equiped for all our needs. We loved the variety of walks that we could do straight from the door, and exploring the lochs for beaver activity. A few extra bits would improve things: a washing up basin (we don't all rely on dishwashers), plastic cups for using in the outdoor bath and a little net to scoop the leaves etc out of the bath. We were not at all impressed with ...more
Fantastic cottage in an amazing part of the world. Cottage has everything you need, very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Location is mind blowing, such a beautiful area, abundant wildlife, fantastic walks, fresh air and photo opportunities. This feels like switching off. Lovely cosy cottage which I look forward to visiting again.
Lovely cozy New Year spent at Kindrochet Lodge, perfect for the whole family - ages 1 to 67. Thank you
