We were very impressed with the accommodation, plenty of room for three generations! Great location with easy access to the beautiful lakes towns and villages. Maple cottage was very well equipped and four bathrooms meant no long queues for showers. We thoroughly enjoyed our week, thank you.
Fantastic place to stay. Good choice of accommodation options and size. Friendly, helpful, professional staff who are there to help from the point of booking to leaving. Great location with Bowness-on-Windermere within walking distance. We have stayed there two yeas in succession for New Year and on each occasion cannot fault. Accommodation very clean with everything you need. Fantastic views. Great hot tub and great log burner. Great place for groups and families Would 100% fully recommend anyone to stay here. You won't be disappointed. We will be going back.
Elm lodge was ideal for our party of 3 mixed age families it was well furnished and spotlessly clean the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals the lounge was very comfortable with plenty of seating and the en suite bedrooms also. The outside seating area was good and we made well use of it, the grounds were immaculate and spacious for the children to play they enjoyed the hot tub especially. I can recommend this estate for a relaxing and scenic holiday.
We stayed in Beech Cottage and the size and layout of the accomodation was perfect for 10 of us across 3 generations. It was a really good size with plenty of bathrooms and we loved having use of the hot tub (which was maintained every day and emptied out and refreshed on the day we left). Beech Cottage has lovely views over fields and a really useful outdoor space to enjoy with a great outdoor dining area. A great house for a large group. Comfortable beds, 4 lounge areas and a very well equipped kitchen. The la Minor issues dealt with immediately by Martin. Well placed for a walk to Bowness and drive to much of the Lake District.
We had a wonderful time staying at Hazel Cottage. We were a group of 5 adults and 2 tiny kids and the house was perfect for an intergenerational group. We stayed with our kids in the downstairs bedroom, grandparents and auntie stayed upstairs for peace and quiet but enough communal area for us all to hang out and play together. Great location in terms of seeing the sights (did Brant Fell walk from the door with some guidance from staff) and a short drive to loads of top Lake District spots. We loved staying at Rowan cottage. It is situated in an ideal location for touring around the lakes. The cottage was comfortable and located in a peaceful surroundings. The staff was friendly and kept touch at all times if we needed anything. We would definitely recommend this cottages to anyone who wants to visit the Lake District.
Our stay at The Oaks Country Estate was so good. The accommodation, the staff on site, the grounds really everything was outstanding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to my friends.
Such a lovely little cosy cottage with stunning views of the fells. We felt at home right away. The hot tub was an additional treat after a long days walking.& we weren’t overlooked. I thoroughly recommend this place & am sure we’ll be back. The kitchen is v well equipped & all you need to bring is food staples. There’s not a lot of storage space for clothes & shoes but we did have a lot of stuff! Thank you Jo & Sarah.
