Amazing, comfortable, wonderful. Everything was thought of for a great stay. All provided with a very high standard. Especially loved the doggie basket
We had a lovely relaxing week away in the most dog friendly place (other than home) that I have every visited, let alone stayed at! We had a welcome pack for the people with everything we would need to enjoy a cuppa and a great cooked breakfast the following day and, for the dogs, beds, treats, towels, toys and a spare collar and lead in case, plus throws so they could go on all the furniture. A lovely place I would highly recommend
We have just returned from our second holiday in Brian’s Cottage, once again immaculate on arrival and everything provided to ensure a relaxing holiday for us and our two Lurchers. This is the perfect cottage for dogs, lovely well fenced garden and the perfect dog bed. The views from the garden are amazing, lots of wildlife and beautiful sunsets. Out third visit is already booked,
We had the best week at the Walnut. It's a beautiful property in a lovely setting and great location. The cottage was very cosy especially decorated for Christmas. What made it so special were the thoughtful little touches for both us and the dogs. We had a lovely welcome hamper full of delicious goodies, a lovely candle, found a bauble on the tree with all our names on it, a dog advent calendar and so much more! Comfy dog beds, sofa throws, bowls and toys were all provided which saved us taking it all with us. The dogs didn't want to leave they were so relaxed! There are fantastic beaches ...more
We were hoping for a cottage that met all of our requirements but fully expected that there would be some areas it didn’t. We were very pleasantly surprised to find the most perfect cottage which gave us everything we wanted and some things we didn’t even realise we wanted! The owners were super friendly and did everything possible to make our stay a good one. The accommodation itself ... well WOW what can I say! Absolutely everything was high spec whilst still feeling comfortable enough to relax in. There were so many little touches that made such a difference to our stay and a lovely welc...more
We had such a lovely relaxing weekend with Louise and John, I could've definitely stayed for longer. Gorgeous welcome gifts and bubbly waiting for us along with a big beautiful Christmas tree, which was a lovely touch. The lounge is very inviting and has the cosiest log burner, sofa and blankets to snuggle under. The house is immaculate and beautifully decorated, and I'm a stickler for detail after working in the self-catering holiday industry for many years now. Stunning warm bedrooms, both with en-suites, huge sofa to curl up on, parking right outside the door, silence when you wake up in th...more
If pushed to use only one phrase about this place it would be “high quality” Fortunately I’m allowed more than one phrase so I’ll say that this is honestly a truly special place. The communication before arrival, the welcome pack, the furniture and fittings, everything you could possibly need is provided and all of it is lovely quality. I genuinely have sourced some of the kitchen equipment and bedding to have in my own home and I can’t say that about anywhere else I’ve stayed! What makes this al the more remarkable is that this is a superbly dog friendly place (and yes, even the “dog stuff”...more
What a lovely cottage! It is warm, clean and very comfortable. Everything for both humans and dogs are catered for. The garden is large and totally secure which gives peace of mind when letting the dogs out that there is not going to be any escapees! It is the little things that make it special like the lights on the trees in the garden at night, the welcome pack, throws on the settees for the dogs (although we always take our own), a truly dog friendly cottage which makes a happy holiday and only a few minutes walk to the beach! Highly recommended!
Very friendly welcoming owners and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Would thoroughly recommend to others .Tracy and her husband always on hand for any information.
Our first time at rooster barn. Me and my wife were very impressed and so were the three dogs with us who loved the large enclosed garden. The underfloor heating was really nice. We did not need the wood burner on at all during the holiday.
Wonderful stay at a property which was fully stocked with everything we could ever need. Completely dog friendly too. Would highly recommend.
Fantastic week, dogs had a lovely time. Excellent customer service from East Rushton as usual. Lovely location and cottage
Unfortunately we had to split our week in two due to the C19 restrictions of a maximum of 6 people at any time. But despite this we all had a great time. The garden was perfect for dogs, with plenty of space, safe & confined. The house was very comfortable (the children loved the bean bags) in a perfect location for a relaxing week. The footpath opposite the gate went straight to the beach, with another footpath running behind the property.
We loved it short break at Rubygem in Winterton. The cottage was perfect with a great location near the beach which was good for dog walking. All in all highly recommended especially if you have a dog.
Heather Cottage is a beautiful, warm and welcoming, cosy, spotlessly clean and well equipped cottage in an ideal location - a few minutes walk from a gorgeous sandy beach which is dog friendly too, a minute to the local shop/post office, and another minute to the dog friendly local pub which does great food (at the current time booking is highly recommended due to Covid). Lovely to find fresh flowers and a welcome pack with items for both the humans and dogs - the dogs love the Nero’s biscuits, and we paid a visit to the stall along the road to buy more to bring home and as presents for the...more
Lovely holiday.Had everything that we wanted.Host was A1 and couldn't do enough for us.Really happy and cottage was lovely and clean
This was our first time staying at St. Benets but hopefully not the last. The cottage is huge with a large sitting room, a dining room and a large kitchen plus two floors of bedrooms and two bathrooms including the biggest one we’ve ever seen - you could live in it! For a large family or group it’s perfect. There’s a good sized garden, fully enclosed for those with dogs, and the entire cottage is immaculate - the cleaners do a great job! St Benets is in a perfect location being only a few minutes walk to Sea Palling beach and the other local amenities and we would definitely recommend it. We’l...more
Beautiful cottage and location, we thoroughly enjoyed the week. We had two dogs and a little one with us. Plenty of space for everyone and the dogs loved the garden. We did though have some issues, really the kitchen struggles with the number of guests, we ended up going out and buying pans. Food storage is inadequate so if you are foodies and enjoy the cooking side then you might struggle. We asked for a travel cot, it was awful so if you have a tiny one, bring your own. We think maybe they can also look at replacing the bedding, it was quite tired, it looked like it was the end of the sea...more
This is our first stay in an East Ruston Cottage, and what a surprise it was. Everything we needed was on hand and more besides. A lovely greeting by the owner on arrival, a lovely welcome pack on the table and even home made biscuits for the dogs. Towels for drying the dogs were provided, although we didn't need them as we took our own, and throws for the furniture, again not needed as our dogs don't go on the furniture, there would not be any room for us if they did as we have eight. A cage was provided for our youngest puppy, to save us taking one. The garden was large, plenty of room for ...more
What a fabulous location, moments from the beach which was super for my land locked dogs who love beach running and splashing in the sea even in December. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and comfortable, the speedy delivery of two larger crates was welcomed by they boys who settle better in crates when in new property. Cornerways is very suitable for active dogs and while the garden may be small with the beach and other walks moments away that really was of little importance. We enjoyed the contents of the welcome basket too We look forward to staying again
Ollands Barn Farm is a fantastic holiday option if you are looking for a lovely, comfortable, dog friendly and extremely clean accommodation. Hosts are welcoming, discreet and very attentive. We had a fantastic time and will recommended it to anyone! Thank you very much to our wonderful hosts! Best, Javier, Brenda, Shep and Bob!
Great cottage, in a lovely quiet village, ideally located for visits to the glorious North Norfolk beaches & beautiful countryside walks. The cottage is fully equipped, dog friendly & feels like a true home from home. The welcome pack that was left for us was amazing & was much appreciated. A lovely restful break.
The lodge was a little difficult to find in the dark but no problems once I found it. Very pleasant stay and had everything you could need plus a few extras.
Very well equipped and spotless chalet. Peaceful and beautiful location. Very enjoyable and relaxing break.
Corner cottage provided us with one of best holidays we've had in quite a few years. Originally just my wife and I with out 2 border collies were going. Owing to Covid regulations my eldest daughter was due to have a party for her 50th birthday, which she had to cancel, so the and invited her and husband plus 1 bulldog to join us for the weekend, we also invited our other daughter, husband and 3 weimaraner dogs. Cleared it with the office and paid the extra. They all really did enjoy their time there and all the dogs got on great. The wife and I have a few more booked by ourselves for next yea...more
Lovely cottage perfect place to stay for walks to the beach with the dogs, close to the villages of Walcott and Bacton.
First time staying at Milestone Barn. We were very pleased with the location and barn itself. It was perfect for us to spend time together with the open plan living area. Perfect for us and our dog. Lots of lovely places to visit just a short drive away. We felt very confident with this holiday during the pandemic due to fantastic communications. We definitely would recommend x
I've been to other ERC properties but first time at Badgers Retreat. It was so comfy and cosy. I know the local area and it's great to be so close to the Weavers Way (partly resurfaced too, nice and clean.) The accommodation is clean, great welcome pack and the log burner was a nice touch in the depths of winter. Everything worked perfectly, the sofas are super comfy and the kitchen is well equipped. It was cold, damp weather while I stayed, and the conservatory is great for keeping wellies and dog coats out the way. I met the lady owner on arrival and she was very welcoming, but then left ...more
Second time this year at Red Roofs, we really enjoy it there, well appointed roomy house, right on Hickling Broad, geat views of the boat house's and the broad. we have stayed there many times, recent kitchen makeover and ample bits in the kitchen means you want for nothing, a new internal stable door makes it easier to catch the doggies paws by the back door before entering the house, very large living room with a log fire, the garden is huge and recent improvemnts to the fence mean no rabbit (malteasers) for my two to eat, as mentioned with the big enclosed garden you dont need to leave Red...more
Lovely large house with huge garden. Very private. Good location for the Broads and the sea. Nice touches like a Welcome Pack including dog treats and poo bags. Even nicer surprise to open the fridge and find fresh eggs, sausages and bacon from the local shop. Left alone to enjoy our holiday by the owners, but contact details and friendly message left for us to contact them should any problem arise. Overall we had an absolutely wonderful holiday- only spoilt by horrendous weather on the last day!!
