The Lodge is in an amazing location, so close to the beach and great if you just want to relax. It is home from home, really comfortable. We took two dogs (medium/small) and it was perfect. Would definitely go again.
We returned to Bumblebee in a different season and found a tranquil peaceful haven surrounded by nature bursting into spring. The cottage is more than comfortable, beautifully presented and the patio is a sun trap. There is everything there for humans and dogs. The walks from the front door are relaxing and the beach is 5 minutes away. The owners are supportive and friendly but unobtrusive. We will be back! In fact already booked for the autumn.
A fabulous holiday cottage, even better than the photos . A generous welcome pack, kind helpful hosts. Our dogs loved the field and the assortment of toys .
What can I say? except WOW WOW WOW!! The Barn is absolutely stunning, and every convenience thought of to make your stay incredible. We loved it here, as did our Dogs, and would recommend to anyone. Weather was good too, we had an amazing week, thank you.
A wonderful, relaxing week at The Lobster. We loved absolutely everything about it - a great welcome pack, private path to the stunning beach, luxurious bedrooms and bathrooms & beautifully furnished. It is so well designed inside and out. Our dog really enjoyed the garden and the Charley Chau dog beds provided. We could happily have stayed put all week but did a few trips out to East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens, Bacton Woods, Eden in Stalham, Smallsticks, Watsons and the Gunton Arms. Another gem, thank you to the owners and team ERC. Really hope to return if we can get booked!
We chose Thatched Cottage as it was in an area where we hadn't stayed before, and it is predominantly on 1 level , as we have an elderly Goldie. It was a perfect choice, from the lovely welcome pack for 2 and 4 legged guests, to a warm welcome from the owner when we arrived, The cottage was very comfortable, and had most things we needed. We had mixed weather, but did manage to sit in the lovely garden on 3 out of he 4 evening with glass of wine. Thatched cottage provided the R&R we were after. Wroxham has lots of dog friendly cafes, etc, where our dog go very spoilt.
Amazing little place, comfortable, clean, with everything you need for your stay. The beach is just 1minute away our dogs loved it, and to be able to sit in the garden and look at the sea was great. Thank you Sally
Having stayed with ERC for a few years now this may have been our favourite escape to the country!!! Beautiful cottages immaculate and clean everything is top quality from the kitchen, the bedrooms, bathrooms the patio area and hartman outdoor patio set then to top it off the high end hot tub was the icing on the cake!! So stunning in so many ways, the countryside walks on the doorstep were lovely and quiet for my reactive dogs. We were a mile or so from the beach, smallsticks cafe and the star at Lessingham with Tesco a 5 minute drive!! What more could you want from a break away beautiful pe...more
For me staying with my two dogs, Jacks Shack was the perfect location, and perfect accommodation. Out of the back door and straight onto the dunes where my boys could run, walk, sniff freely off lead. A few minutes (or more dependant on sniffing) and you are at the beach. Jacks Shack is a very comfortable cottage and well equipped with lots of cups, plates etc. dishwasher, washing machine (should you need??) Totally enclosed garden so completely safe for dogs. Winterton is a quietish lovely location with just one pub, which suited us. If you want rowdy late nights, this is not a place for ...more
Beautiful barn, the exterior & interior took your breath away. Pictures do not do it justice. Felt at home immediately. Was comfortable, cosy & so quiet. Humans & dogs were catered for perfectly. So grateful for the ground floor bedroom due to my tripod lurcher. He needs to go out in the night so I could hear him asking. All towns & beaches close by so perfect location. Welcome goodies were gorgeous & thanks for birthday bubbles . Best place we have stayed & are coming back.
This cottage boasts a secure garden in the front, as well as the back. It was wonderful for us, with reactive dogs, to be able to sit and relax while we watched our dogs enjoy both gardens. The cottage is very clean, has everything you could wish for as a home away from home (even has an air fryer), and is easily accessible for exploring the region. We spent many hours walking on the beach as it is literally one dune over from the property. The "treats" left for both ourselves and our dogs far surprassed our expectations.
The walnut is a very neat little property and is part of willow tree holidays located in Happisburgh Heath. the property is neat and well furnished and outside is a hot tub which we all enjoyed. for the dogs Dylan and Monty there was a nice paddock where they could wander and meet other dogs. the owners Paul and Stella where very friendly and welcoming.
Great place especially for my dogs who don't do beach so the enclosed paddock is ideal. We would have preferred a walk in shower instead of the climbing into a bath as we are not youngsters. Overall a great place.
Excellent facilities for the dogs. They had their own enclosed spaces with toys and poo bags supplied. The cottage was comfortable and very well stocked with the best welcome package ever! Could have done with slightly larger sofas for four adults but other than that, it was brilliant!
Had a very enjoyable stay at Dormy. The location is great for the beach which is excellent for our very energetic working cocker spaniel. Facilities within the bungalow were very good, the air fryer and the coffee machine were a great bonus, so much so that we bought the same model coffee machine when we got home. Fabulous welcome pack( with artisan dog treats) and a secure gardens for the hound. The whole accommodation is really dog friendly We also had the bonus of sunny weather. We had a great holiday. Thank you. Helen, John & Milo
I went to 1 Paynes Cottage for a long weekend with 2 of our dogs. I've stayed at other East Ruston Cottages, but this was the first time here. The cottage has everything you need (apart from a couple of baking trays, left a note suggesting this), it's warm, clean, cosy, and the bed is super comfy! Didn't need the log burner as it was really warm in the daytime, but the heating was welcome in the chillier evenings. The cottage is situated on a very peaceful back lane. ERC describe the garden and fences very well, the front fence is short, but as our dogs aren't escape artists it was fine, an...more
This is our second visit to this lovely cottage beautifully presented from the moment you arrive the field for the dogs to run in is ideal. Everything has been thought of it’s definitely luxury to a high standard. The welcome hamper for us & our 5 dogs was a lovely touch even included a birthday cake & card. The owners are onsite & are friendly & helpful. The cottage is ideally situated for the beach, wooded walks. Stalham is a couple of miles away which has a supermarket, fish & chip shop & other takeaways also a vet which we have had to use. This accommodation is 1st class!
Ruby Gem is a fabulous cottage, great location and so many extras to make your stay special. Absolutely loved it.
A beautifully located and picturesque cottage with everything needed for an excellent holiday. Lots of walks from the cottage and easy proximity to beaches and other attractions. Very comfortable and well equipped.
Beautiful barn very well equipped lots of room even with 5 big dogs lots of great quiet walks close to the barn short drive to our favourite beaches will definitely book again if they will have us, even our escape artist Jack Russell couldn’t find a way out of garden. My only sad face was the internet connection not brilliant normally would have loved that but it was TT RACE WEEK. A small niggle from a great week with family
As much as I want to leave a bad review to keep this awesome little gem to myself, I can’t! As our first UK dog friendly holiday, we wasn’t sure what to expect. But, WOW, Steve, Paula, Syd and Woody have thought of everything!! Their holiday home is spotless and a literal home away from home. They’ve thought of everything for your pups from blankets, bedding, towels right down to a slow feeder! We had an amazing time and as soon as 2027 dates are released, we’re booking again. For the humans, everything has been thought through, takeaway menus, recommendations for food, days out, a...more
We loved Hidden Gem. It is 5 minutes walk from the cottage over the dunes to the sea, and the beach at Winterton is sandy, dog friendly and beautiful. Hidden gem is very comfortable and well equipped with great views of the dunes. This is definitely one to return to for a lovely relaxing holiday.
Broads Cottage is a lovely place to stay and has very comfortable beds and sofas and 2 great showers and a super deep bath! We were a bit worried about the garden being next to the road through the village but it was so quiet we didn’t need to worry. The dogs were relaxed in the garden and hardly a car or person went past. The garden is secure for most dogs, as long as your dog doesn’t jump or try and escape. Lovely walks along the Broads from the door, beaches just a 15 minute drive away. A friendly small local shop and a dog friendly pub a very short walk away which served great food. Gat...more
A lovely bungalow very clean and comfortable. Perfect position for bacton woods the dog’s favourite would love to come back again
Returned home yesterday from our 2nd stay in the Crib and it didn't disappoint this is such a beautiful cottage with absolutely everything you could possibly need for both dog's and humans, the garden is so secure you can completely relax knowing the dog's are safe even for the escape artist (Megan)the welcome pack was plentiful and very much appreciated thank you Helen and Chris, we love our holidays staying in the Crib so much we have already booked for next year
Lovely little cottage with everything we needed. Practical outdoor space for a sit down and the dogs to get out but under close control. Offroad walks a few metres from front door. Good location for beaches and to explore Norfolk. On-line info pack spot on and very simple booking.
We recently stayed at Rose Cottage with our friends and our old Staffie Millie. The booking and all communication before we arrived at Rose Cottage was great. The welcome pack that was waiting for us was amazing especially the Victoria sandwich. There was everything at the cottage that could want, especially for dogs. We were asked if we needed a cage and bed, but there was a whole doggy utility room with towels, blankets, dog washer, brushes, steps for little dogs and much more. The cottage was cosy, the owner was welcoming. I we had a fabulous stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend Rose Cot...more
I stayed with friends and 2 dogs at The Farmhouse at the end of January, and we really enjoyed our stay. Warm, comfortable house with an amazing choice of games/activities (including a pool table, which we loved!), and set in a great location - few minutes drive (or longer walk) to beaches plus lots of interesting walks across country from the door. The Farmhouse is in a very peaceful location, too. The garden is fully secure and a good size for dogs and humans! The dog shower was brilliant for hosing down the dogs after muddy walks, and having the conservatory as an entrance made it super ...more
The place was spotless on arrival! Plenty of places to walk the dogs and the garden was fully secure. Very quiet and peaceful. Had a lovely holiday
Fabulous place to stay, great location & so close to the dunes great for walking the dogs, it’s the second time we have stayed there & the boys know where the back gate led too. The house is like a tardis looks like a regular terrace house but super big inside. We had excellent fish & chips from the local chippy & Rachel the owner kept in touch with us throughout our stay
We chose the perfect place for our 8 month old labrador puppy’s first holiday. Corner Cottage had everything you needed and more…towels, toys, poo bags, etc and the treats for dogs and humans! It was so nice to be able to go on walks straight from the door, and the garden was beautiful to relax in if we didn’t want to travel too far. We visited so many different places and feel we haven’t scratched the surface so we’ll definitely be back!
First time at Rooster Barn. Had a week away with my husband and our four large dogs (Pointers and a Weimaraner). We were greeted with a lovely welcome pack and a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our anniversary. The accommodation was perfect for us as it provided a secure space for our dogs to wander, as well as giving us a peaceful place to rest. There is a pub (under new management) in the village, where we sat outside after a walk with the dogs and everything else is just a short drive away. The neighbours dogs were not a problem. They occasionally barked when they heard our dogs outsi...more
We loved our stay here. First of all, the cottage is spacious! We came with our 2 German Shepherd dogs and there was plenty of room to move around. The garden was lovely to sit in and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening sunshine. Highly recommend the bakery down the road. The beach is super close which makes for some lovely walks, we visited good old Yarmouth only a short drive away and also Winterton-on-sea which is super pretty. We loved Brigg cottage and would stay again!
We had an amazing short break here & were so pleased the location & cottage offered everything we could want. A short drive takes you to many dog friendly beaches, woods & National Trust properties & coastal towns, but the bonus is the few yards walk only to get to the local beach where the dogs can run free on an expansive stretch of sand, & you can walk to the pub!
The bungalow was very well equipped and very dog friendly. The welcome basket was very much appreciated. We ate at the village pub a couple of times and found the food was tasty and very reasonably priced. The pub is dog friendly!
We have just returned from a fabulous week in Skylark, enhanced in the most by the great weather. The property was exactly what we required, clean, comfortable and cosy. All the kitchen appliances and utensils were really appreciated. The garden games were used and enjoyed by all. The atmosphere on the Estate was so friendly, and the ability to walk the dogs directly to the beach added to the positive experience for all. If you and your dogs are happy without enclosed gardens, this is a great little place to stay. Like being in a friendly campsite, but with all your home comfor...more
A lovely relaxing stay at a wonderful house and location. Quiet and relaxing stay but within easy reach of beautiful beaches which were great for taking the dogs. Could not fault the property and the welcome hamper was well thought out and a real treat
From the moment we got through the door, it was clear that dogs are VERY welcome at The Lodge in East Ruston. From the gorgeous throws piled up to use on the sofas if your dog isn’t a fan of lounging on the floor, to the luxurious dog beds for them if they are, it was a very warm welcome. There was a lovely welcome pack for us, full of fresh produce, as well as a welcome pack for Sadie. Sadie didn’t just receive a couple of treats, there was a whole jar of them at her disposal, plus dog towels, luxury beds, soft throws, multiple dog bowls to choose from (it was as if they already knew our...more
My dogs and I had a lovely time at Farthing Cottage and the surrounding beaches. The cottage was so thoughtfully provided for multiple dogs and doggy owners in terms of bowls, crates, furniture throws, even ramps and gates. Pretty much any possible needed dog accessories were supplied. The dog and owner welcome packs were also amazing, including nearly a week's breakfast stocked in the fridge by the very generous owner Caroline! The cottage itself was clean, bright, and very secure with a small fenced-in back garden for dogs, a very well-stocked kitchen for cooking, upstairs and downstairs...more
Property is clean, fresh and airy.... Owners very friendly and welcoming. Lovely secure garden suitable for dogs to explore. Great walks on the doorstep. Beach is only short drive away.
A wonderful cottage , dogs so happy in enclosed garden ( as we're owners) spotlessly clean , loverly welcome pack , comfy beds , just everything you could want , and more .Lovely location , central for exploring countryside and tucked away beaches.
Beautiful location. Very helpful owner. Great for dogs. Very clean. Comfy beds. Lovely kitchen. Weather was cold and only downside was evenings were chilly inside barn. Otherwise perfect.
Our Stay at Vineyard Cottage East Rushton Having found the location relatively easily, we enquired at the farmhouse to ensure we had the correct place and all was well. We had the paperwork and details of the stay, and the accommodation was exactly as expected. It was a lovely compact, two bedroomed bungalow type building with bathroom, including a standup corner shower and a well laid out kitchen, and television lounge. It was beautifully located, and the surrounding area has a wealth of stunning countryside, stately homes, bespoke gardens, animal parks, sanctuaries etc., with the beaut...more
We have stayed at Red Roofs a number of times & it is the most relaxing cottage that we have booked for both ourselves & our dog. We stayed over the Xmas period & it was a delight to see the Christmas tree lights twinkling as we arrived. The welcome pack was excellent & we had the surprize bonus of the owner dropping off a tin of home made mince pies mid stay.
We had a great Family time here for my 60 th birthday. The living space worked for meals and being together. The house felt like home and was very well equipped and we even discovered hammocks and love jackets . Thank you. Trampoline and the play house was a hit. The mooring was great for our kayak The bedrooms were comfortable but will soon need an upgrade in our opinion.
Lovely peaceful cottage, great location. East Cottage has a beautiful large garden both hoomins & dogs enjoyed. It was lovely to listen to the birds in the garden first thing in the morning. The hot tub was amazing & we had perfect weather with only 1/2 days rain. The beds were incredibly comfortable & we all had a great nights sleep.
Great place, the walks are wonderful, lovely goodies thank you. Only thing negative is the hot water temperature is so hot it was hard to set the shower at a bareable temp. The enclosed garden big bonus. We would stay again.
