Wayside Cottage is a lovely, well-equipped cottage that is also ideally situated near Dunoon centre and local pubs/ restaurants. The views from the bedrooms are just stunning, especially at dawn with the beautiful sunrise. The lounge has two large comfy sofas and is a great space to enjoy in the evenings. The owners added some local produce which was a nice surprise on arrival. The property was perfectly clean which we also really appreciated. Thank you

What a beautiful home and setting. We very much enjoyed our say :) Beautiful décor and setting, the house is very spacious and welcoming. I would only suggest adding a potato masher to the kitchen :) x The views are stunning.

Lovely cottage. Family break - four adults. Heating was on for our arrival which was very much appreciated. Extremely clean with everything we needed for a week's stay. Beautiful views from the upstairs bedrooms and beds and bedding were great quality.Great communication from owners. We like to cook so a small freezer would have been a real bonus for us for future stays. We really enjoyed our week there and can recommend!

House was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Looks like the house has been redecorated recently so everything in great condition. Little extras like the welcome hamper and enough dishwasher tablets and toilet roll for a week were a nice extra touch that a lot of other places we've stayed haven't provided

I read the previous reviews and I was not disappointed. The cottage was spotless and it had everything we needed. There was also a lovely enclosed garden and the location was quiet but near shops and seafront. The owners were in contact beforehand with information and useful tips, there was also fresh milk in the fridge and a basket of lovely biscuits. I would return to the cottage again and would certainly recommend it to others.

I travelled with my husband, our 3 year old son and my elderly parents. The bedrooms and bathrooms available in this property were perfect as my father can’t climb stairs. Him and my mother had their own bathroom next to their bedroom on the ground floor. We had 2 bedrooms and a gorgeous bathroom with a bath upstairs. The rest of the house is just ideal. Beautiful kitchen and very well equipped. The owner put some milk in the fridge for us and left a lovely welcome basket with some biscuits etc. We loved the garden as it was so safe for our son and also just beautiful to sit in and look at. We had a few issues with the heating but the owners are so helpful and rectified it straight away.

The location of the cottage is literally a 5 mins walk to the seafront and not far from shops and restaurants in the Main Street. I could have stayed here longer and I would definitely stay here again if we visit Dunoon again. Our son just loved it and talks about “The Other House” now!

Wayside cottage is fabulous, the best rental we have stayed at. Everything is great it is really spacious and decorated to a high standard. We like to cook and found plenty of implements etc. It was a great location easy to walk to town. We look forward to staying again.

Wow,, this place was perfect.. cleanliness and comfort was great.. little treat box we received on arrival so sweet. The children loved it. Definitely Value for money and we would love to return.
The views of the Clyde from the bedrooms was beautiful. Only problem was parking but we soon got round it...
Legs were very tired after lots of walks. Everyone around is very friendly. Highly recommend...

Beautiful cottage. Clean and fully equipped. Had everything we needed. Located in the town and a short walk from local amenities. Good base to explore Argyll.

Owing to particular circumstances our stay was long term, for three months, so our comments may not be applicable to shorter stays. First, a few negatives. Parking is tricky if you are not comfortable reversing into a tight space. We could have done with an outside drying facility, but fortunately had our own indoor drying rack for washing. We found the TV rather complicated to operate and slow to respond to the remote control, but it provided a good picture. Equipment was good, but one thing lacking in the kitchen was a decent carving knife for the likes of a chicken or joint. The knives provided are very small. However, these are minor quibbles about what is a lovely home. The furnishings are of a high standard and we found the beds particularly comfortable. The owners are exceptionally helpful and obliging, and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable.
