Weather was not very good but we enjoyed our stay. Lovely walks, make sure you take your waterproof clothes with you.

We loved chapelton cottage. It is comfortable and well appointed with everything you would need. Lorna had left some lovely little extras. The location is perfect to walk along the loch when the tide is out and I had planned to paddleboard as literally a two minute walk to reach the water but Storm Kathleen meant that was not sensible. Strachur is a lovely welcoming place with a well stocked shop and cafe with lovely food and cakes. We had lunch at the Loch Fyne Oyster bar where the food is delicious and we also drove along the single track road at the lochside to the Oystercatcher at Otter Ferry, which was lovely drive, and had some langoustines to carry out. These were also delicious and with a beautiful view down the loch. We would definitely book the cottage again as so peaceful but in a location with lots of walking and outdoor activities and with plenty of great places to eat.

Beautifully decorated ,calm and very welcoming ,everything you need for your stay ,we had a long weekend stay and it was perfect ,walks along the shore which is straight across the road .There is a wee shop across the road on the left or a petrol station with a well stocked shop up the hill on the right with a wee woodland walk on the way ,would I stay there again 100% yes I would ,in fact I didn't want to leave

Chapelton Cottage was very well equipped, lovely and cosy! Amazing views being able to see the loch from the cottage and within minutes you can walk along the loch shoreline, something my Labrador appreciated! There is a shop within a few minutes walk and the Creggans Inn with great food and drinks within a 15 minute walk. I would highly recommend here, the bottle of cava and eggs/bread/milk were also very much appreciated.

We've been to this part of Scotland a few times now and always wanted to stay in the fishing cottages on the loch and staying in Chapelton Cottage was no disappointment! Beautifully decorated and furnished, we had everything we needed there and would definitely recommend! Thank you :)
